All wood should be usable to craft wood things like charcoal or campfires. Also tar and wood acid

It would be nice if we could use any kind of wood to turn into charcoal at the forge... or maybe add a mineable node of coal into the game and they can be interchangeable? Im sitting on so much hardwood with no use now because i thought it would burn. Also wood acid and tar, basically anything in the charcoal kiln should be any type of wood.

As the title says some zones have fewer trees and who would think for a second that palm wood does burn! it would be awesome if we could just turn any type of wood into charcoal.

The only problem I have run into at late game (currently lvl 25) crafting is charcoal. getting a ton of it can be kind of a pain in the ass in relation to other high lvl crafting materials. The higher lvl zones offer a much quicker way to gather low lvl materials for high lvl recipes, except for charcoal.

I think it would be pretty nice to add an increased charcoal production from higher lvl woods.

ex: using hardwood only takes 10 for 15 charcoal, and palmwood would only take 5 for 15 charcoal.

the numbers might be out of balance but that's kinda the gist of my suggestion.

There's a valheim mod called "It's Just Wood" that does precisely this in Valheim. Enshrouded would do well to learn from it.

It kinda crazy that palm wood wood is kinda useless right now. You can make building mats out of it but thats it. It's not used for anything. Let us be able to make it into coal!!

Twigs should also be craftable into charcoal. Maybe like 50 twigs to 15 charcoal.
Hardwood Should be craftable into charcoal. Maybe like 12 wood to 15 charcoal.
Palm wood should be craftable into charcoal. Maybe like 8 wood to 15 charcoal.

Yes as suggested already, I cannot believe this doesn't have more upvotes already, having so many different types of wood without using it doesn't make sense...you could even allow burning of shroud wood to get tar since its kinda nasty...but it definitely doesn't make sense that palm wood and hardwood cannot be burned to charcoal like regular wood lol its all wood dang it! lol keeping wood for types of furniture only isn't as useful...please implement this.

Currently there is Wood Logs, Hardwood, Palm Wood, and Shroud Wood. Only Wood Logs can be used to craft ingredients like charcoal or wood acid. I'd like to see all of these wood types be able to be used in recipes like those. Otherwise, they'll just sit in my chests without much use.

In the workbench with basic items that the player crafts with, it would be nice if any time of wood could be used. Allow the player to click which wood type. i.e. for crafting a workbench it will show string and a dropdown of wood types so we can use other types we may have a ton of. (Like a chest or crafting table in minecraft. Any type of wood can be used but it still looks the same)

I have a bunch of hardwood but I can't make a campfire with it. Because it's hardwood and not regular wood. If survival is on the line, gotta use even the primo wood for warmth.

I know we can convert wood to charcoal but why can't we convert wigs to charcoal? I understand we might have to use a lot more of them to get a similar effect but I am swimming in twigs and would like to have a genuine use for them please.
