Add Fishing
Would be really nice to be able to relax and fish in this game, with the addition of being able to add a pond near your base to fish different variants of fish depending on the biome you're located in.

Doogie DixonNo water in the game (as far as I've seen, so far), and it may be an issue with performance to add water physics, but it would be nice if there was a machine we could build to collect water (maybe just out of the air) and place it within our base. Then, add a quest, or game mechanic that allows us to collect or gather fish to fill our pond/lake with. Lore wise (as long as I haven't seen the lore explaining away the existence of water) it could be explained as the player reclaiming and restoring the lands. Kinda looks like a lot of the enshrouded areas were once under water..

AorosI would say, that there is no water in game for a reason and it's justified in lore by notes already, i won't spoil anything, but look for Umber Hollow related notes.

Melvin MergedI think the world would have been better with water where you see beautiful waterfalls, and have fishing in the game for food

NoonianI want fishing, but do not necessarily need you to flesh out water - just make pond models we can place at our bases with different types of water, fish, and rods please.

Whubbl.eI would also love to see fishing added. There are wells, perhaps fishing holes could be discovered in caverns under ground for fishing. That way it won't mess with the lore. As far as the physics goes, wouldn't it be similar to the shroud physics?

superpebblewhat drives me crazy about gamers asking for fishing is how unspecific you want to experience this. do you want a overly simplistic cast line and watch the float dip into the water and then click repeatedly until its magically in your inventory? do you want to walk the shore line and have it avoid obstacles like logs and reeds while managing tension? but saying you want something vague usually gets the quickest product possible and is often easiest but ultimately underwhelming.

KagemikoI find fishing in all games to be really bad, but I upvoted this for the fact that it would mean we would have to have water.
