  Like every other game, pressing the same # key for the current item held, should holster it. As it currently stands, it uses the item when you press the item button again.

  Display of weapons on the character (slots for one-handed items on the belt (sword in sheath on the left, one-handed pickaxe/axe behind the belt on the right, ax up, BACKPACK on the character (you can attach a glider to the back) place for a shield on the backpack, slots for two-handed weapons /tools on the sides of the backpack, or at least crosswise if the backpack is not visible

  As a ranger/bow user I'd love to be able to see my quiver with arrows on my back like other games. Maybe a unique quiver design per bow or something.

  Small change makes huge immersion difference! If you can dedicate a button to sheathe your One handed / two handed weapons to your Back/side and your Shield to your back while exploring or holding a torch to look even cooler, that would make a huge impact on how you feel as an adventurer in an RPG. I would love to see this small visual change as do many others i am sure!

  The fact that you have to select a different action bar item in order to hide your weapon is unfortunate. Most other games of this genre have a sheathe/unsheathe action and keybinding. Would love if they added this!

  Hello! Loving Enshrouded so far. I understand this is a marathon, not a sprint, and there are most likely plans to address this in the future but I always love seeing my off hand weapons on my characters back/waist. Maybe in the future, weapons assigned to slots 1, 2, 3 are displayed on our character? :) I understand this may be a lot of work due to different weapons needing different snap points etc. but I think it would be awesome! Keep up the amazing work!

  I guess I'm just picky on how my character looks. I love being able to show my weapons and shields on my character. Valheim has a cool mechanic where, when you sheath your weapons, you run faster.

  It should be possible to bind a key for holster your weapon ur actaully using. Its important to turn into fist fight immediately. Often useful to use fist specific skills like the counter strike ability. So far i just use a empty actionbar slot for this. But thats very frustrating cause loot automatically gets sorted into the bar. So i always have to remove the new item again to have the empty slot. A Keybinding function to holster weapon would be the best solution for that problem imo.

  The sword can also be put on the waist and on the back you leave the shield, the bow and the quiver (like in Zelda BOTW that the arrows you have are visible in the quiver)

  I think it would be great to see either a back or hip quiver for bows, too. It seems strange to run around with a bow with no quiver. Looks cool for rangers, etc. Make them a craft-able item possibly? Maybe combine it with a craft-able cloak option.

  I'd be fine if I could just make it so the slot didn't need to be empty for me to "holster" an item. I don't even care if I can see the item on my body, sheathed or otherwise.

  Having the quiver as a separate item space (a sub-tab similar to the key items tab in inventory) would be nice. similarly having a spell pouch for casters. arrows or spells would go into the respective pouches before they start to fill inventory slots. This would be a major quality of life improvement for ranged and caster players so that they don't feel like they are being punished for playing a class that uses "ammo"

  I absolutely agree, it would add immersion even in view of multiplayer, in a Roleplay server.
  As other users have already suggested, I would also like to be able to store weapons.
  The game has a wonderful building construction system and therefore particular attention to detail. This attention should also be directed to the character to allow us to customize him in the best possible way.

  My suggestion for keybind is simply use the "Sit" button. One press sheathes the weapons and the next makes you sit down. To get weapon in hand again press the attack button. BTW I LOVE having a sit down button, it's so immersive!

  It would be a nice touch and added immersion if you could sheathe your weapon, like the classic sheild and short sword on back, daggers at the sides or 2 together on lower back, wand at the side and 2 handed weapon on back. I just feel like carrying your weapon everywhere just isnt as refined a look.

  for example, if my pickaxe is under the hotkey for 4, then if I press 4 while carrying it, it would holster it instead of smacking the ground, the way conan exiles does it.

  I would like the weapons I have equipped show on my characters body. IE: Sword sheathed on hip. Bow on back with magic staff. Ect ect.

  I would really like if the weapons and tools you have on you would be "sheathed", when you are not currently using Them. Shield/staff on back one handed on side/belt eg. Not a pressing matter, But something that would add greatly to my immersion. 😊

  Please add the displaying of a weapon on the back or on the hip because a sword is worn on the hip or a 2 H sword on the back. Please do this for for all weapons and protection like shields and so for tools. Best example is conan exiles or other rpgs :)

  I simply want a button where I can keep my gear equipped and selected but be able to put them in a sheath or on my back or even just make them disappear in that video gamey way so I can roleplay being in a safe place or doing something that isn't active combat without having to scroll to an empty slot in my inventory and unequip my shield.
