More monsters in the open world
I understand that by design the game monsters are featured mostly in the enshrouded areas. However, several parts in the map feel empty due to no density of monsters/animals. Maybe the game needs higher density of living creatures in the open world map? Or even in the air.

Doc Rock MergedThe game is really fun, but after a while it gets stale exploring when all you see running around is wolves and rabbits (not counting the shooting plants). I think the world would feel more alive if we had a bigger variety of creatures to be on the lookout for. Some examples would be deer, elk, bears, or mountain lions to name a few.

MaFa MergedImproved Fauna Diversity:
1
We propose enriching the game's ecosystem with:
Variety of Birds: Different biomes will showcase a diversity of birds, interacting and adding life to the environment.
Realistic Behavior: Animals will exhibit realistic behaviors, day and night cycles, reproduction, and seasonal migrations, creating a dynamic ecosystem.
Interactivity with Animals: Introduce the ability to interact with animals, collect specific resources, and learn from them, encouraging exploration and connection with the fauna.
Insects and Small Animals: Add insects and small animals to create a more vibrant and diverse atmosphere. -

akrasiaI've only started so maybe it ramps up later .. but yes, I'd like to have more battles in the open. and at encounter points (based on party size?) ((server sets multiplier?) )
(maybe random spawner could drop / need to be dealt with / based on level?) .. also it seems like enemies should be stronger at night & in shroud.. (health/or/damage/or/ speed) -

ForaxenWhile I would like a few more enemies to spawn, I also would want to have some higher level enemies to show up from time to time (or after we upgraded the flame) so revisiting lower level area could be a bit more challenging.

HisuinoiI would like to see more sophisticated traps such as a monster disguised as a chest, or as it is commonly called a mimic!
That way, chests in the miasma could be influenced. This would allow a monster to emerge from the chest, and peripheral areas would also count where only a little miasma comes but does not yet count as miasma. It looks like a conventional chest Strength could be by rank and area.
So that a mimic from a gold chest is stronger than from a silver chest.
Would add a bit more excitement than just farming chests! -

Bear WrestlerMore nature creatures, roaming bosses and merchants, survivor settlements would all fill in the world nicely.
I think one big way that the night could be made more interesting would be if it became misty/foggy (light shroud) outside of enshrouded areas at night (either some nights or all nights), and had more roaming mobs during this time. The night is dark and full of terrors. Perhaps even night-only enemies with unique drops, to make the risk worthwhile. Also, raids from scav camps or roaming scav parties.
Base raids are fun, somtimes, but need to be toggle-able somehow.
