Turn torn cloth into fabric
Over the course of the game a lot of torn cloth accumulates in the chests, that you don't need for anything anymore. If there were a way to turn torn cloth into fabric one could mitigate the pain of having to plant hundreds of flax for padding

SpikutanThat, or atleast some more proper use for torn cloth. Closer the lvl25 content, the game starts to lose usability of many low-level item drops, which still occur in large amounts as loot. For some of the items that drop as a loot, there is a usage even in the later EA-game. So I hoarded the torn cloths, only to notice that there is no use for them after the few first hours of gameplay.

KanekosI second, purely because torn cloth and spores are so overused as loot drops they quickly pile up and have little to no purpose. And no purpose for a mob's loot drop = no purpose in killing those mobs anymore.

ZilchOr even break down into a basic component, tbh we should be able to break down most if not all items for lesser components.

and maybe this could be the start for "alt recipes" since the fabric already has its own.
p.s.
How is it possible that this was posted yesterday if submissions is currently disabled?
I would like to suggest something too :( -

AwfulnautAbsolutely agreed! Padding is the most labor intensive material to craft. It could be nice to use the hand spindle or loom to turn torn cloth into linen or fabric.

AvatarIf they do this they'd have to rebalance fabric. But something definitely has to be done with the mountain of torn cloth that we don't need made into bandages

BlueschtWell I keep about 1000 torn cloth. Every excess I delete. But yes I agree with having a different use for torn cloth than only making bandages.

LibertyWhat's the point of torn cloth anyway if it's torn? A strange name for it if nothing can be done with it anyway.

KaiFire Arrows can use the cloth.

You can convert torn cloth into fabric using a loom, combining 20 Torn Cloth + 3 String + 1 Glue
Cooking Pot: Bonemeal + Water = Glue. -

RedIt doesn't even need to be fabric, just more recipes for torn cloth would be nice to get rid of it.

BKI am going to assume that was a English language translation error? And Can, implying it is already in the game was supposed to be Could, as in offering a new suggestion, because as of right now, those recipes don't exist, and I ended up here from Google wondering what I need a whole chest for.

^ No you cannot currently, but I do support this suggestion.
