Easier way to make roads and paths with the rake

I think a way to sort of "paint" roads on pre-existing blocks would be an easier or alternative way to make roads, especially on things like hills. The way I imagine this working would be having a ground reticle like the current rake but the spots you move over it replaces the block or top layer with the road you have selected instead of leveling the area or adding/removing blocks. also a way to increase or decrease the size would be helpful as well.

leilarBadly want this. Shaping terrain is currently awful. Something like the ruin or vine tool would probably be real to keep it consistent with the way similar effects are applied.
