Reduce Dog Barking!!
Please, please, please make the dogs bark less. I love dogs but the incessant barking is infuriating. Maybe make them only bark when they're hungry or something. I had to remove them just to get a little peace and quiet. They're cute and all but the barking's got to go.

RacenYou get the same buff from peting dogs and cats. As a workaround: Put your dog into a chest and only use cats.

Also, it's pretty clear the devs are not actually dog owners.
A cat will walk up to you and meow, a dog will not walk up to you and bark. They bark when they alert at something, not as a greeting. If a dog barks at you, its because it doesn't want you there.
But this will never be fixed because of this broken forum format. This super easy-to-implement QoL idea will never be seen because the nearly impossible task of "add flowing functional water" is hogging the front page. *eyeroll* -

Annajust the option to reduce the volume of animal noises would be good and also stopping them from being able to block you going through doors should be easy enough to code in like not sitting or standing still in x radius of a door.

Only bark when hungry, or something wrong, wolf, enemy nearby etc
If you pet, dog reduces barking because they wanted attention. -

Katie MergedWould be nice if NPC did more activities of daily living on their own instead of just walking around and then sleeping. Have them act more alive. Also Pets are ANNOYING! Why does the dog keep just barking all the dang time. It would be super cool to make pets more interactive and be able to travel with you. All you do is pet them and feed them and hear them bark!

DreamtideBad dog = sits there and barks in your face, when barking should be for things they're alerting you to.
Good dog = loving/loyal physical gestures, maybe some little gentle dog noises.
Look, if I can be invocated with cosmic righteous flame and be the hero of legend I should be able to handle training a dog haha
