Inventory sorting options / settings
Different sorting options such as sort to bottom of inventory, sort by rarity, sort by armor sets instead of item type ect. or add ability to lock items when sorting and shift R into storage or more action bars

Mitch ALPSWould be nice to set items locked to your inventory like Elixer / Flame Scrolls / Bandaids / Extra arrows. So when you Shift R you dont put everything away.
Obviously keeping chests without these items is the solution but it could be improved. -

Karel Price MergedCurrently looking at a chest full of weapons, and I don't know how it is auto-sorting, but it should be weapon category first (melee, ranged, magic), then the sub-categories (swords, axes, clubs, daggers). Just match the Enshrouded wiki. Armor sets should be sorted by their sets. I want to see all armor pieces in one set next to each other, then the next set, etc. Right now the sorting is a mess, and the only real coherency is that items with the same name is sorted next to each other.

XangetzuSorting is just terrible in general and needs improvement. Load a bunch of flower vases into a box and sort and you can see its inconsistent. Current sorting implementation is only good for stacking things if you have multiple stacks and needs to be overhauled.
I suspect its using object ID alone to sort but it really needs more metadata, object type at the very least. -

PseudoAmong other things I would hope that health potions could stay together in the chests, as one example of a problem I would like solved by custom or even improved sorting rules.

agrtgaAnother inconsistency and inefficiency relating to sorting is how inventory is pulled from magic storage.
A sort on the storage will sort item stacks descending (full stacks first). However, inventory is pulled from the first stack that matches thus reducing storage efficiency, because you end up with stacks such as 29, 50, and 11 instead of 50 and 40 with a now empty slot. -

Martin MergedBase inventory
With so many different items and ingredients chest inventory management becomes more and more annoying. The magic chests help a little, but one must still walk to every single box to place items from inventory to the box.
Outputs from crafting stations must be collected and stored manually. When interacting with an NPC in the base all required materials must be in the players inventory to purchase anything.
My proposal for a smoother inventory management is to have a base inventory. The size of that inventory is defined by the number of chests present in a base. The more chests are placed in a base the more space is offered in the base inventory. If a player opens a chest he gains access to a single container holding all items that of the base inventory.
Magic boxes provide a global inventory as well that is automatically used for the crafting benches, but is should be used as well to trade with the NPCs.
Crafting benches should place theire output direct to that. -

Leeneum MergedWhile sorting inventory, potions and food scatter around and get rather mixed up with each other right now instead of having them sort next to eachother neatly for easier access.

TiggywinklesChest item sorting is a mess. Please add multiple filters; quality, alphabetically and type, at least. Right now auto-sorting is very messy and seems to have no real logical sorting order.

CatRandySorting across multiple magic chests would be helpful. Too much space is wasted because the same item is in different chests.
