Allow the server to hold unsynced character save files if a user gets disconnected
I feel like it could help people who play on unreliable connections if the server could hold the character data for a player for a few minutes for example to prevent unavoidable inventory loss. I feel like this differs from
https://enshrouded.featureupvote.com/suggestions/524814/character-saves-world-serverside
because it does not suggest saving character data server side permanently, since this could be a dupe issue, and does not relate to end game players joining. But to check the disconnected player's inv, and if it is empty when they reconnect to the same server within a minute or 2 (Not to another world, public or private, where it might check if the time of their saved char data is later than the disconnect.) It would restore their inventory if the server admin allows, or other options that check based on conditions met. This way it is an admin-only/automated tool to address the inventory loss and not abused for gain until a more permanent fix could be deployed.

NytSongA few times now, my friend and I have lost items because my friend has been unexpectedly disconnected and it didn't properly save his character's inventory. This latest update has been brutal for him whenever we're in the shroud because suddenly the game chews up all of his bandwidth. This ultimately leads to him crashing.
This actually resulted in me finally connecting to a resource world just so we could recover so many valuable resources we've lost. . -

DominicI keep getting disconnected when playing on the game my friend is hosting and I lose stuff that I have recently picked up. On occassion, it's also then duplicated stuff I recently removed from my inventory. Very irritating.

AlexI can't play with my friend because of the disconnects. And I do not understand what is the problem, I spent 400 hours in Valheim with friends and haven't experienced this issue once! We used his server, and dedicated one and we both got kicked 100 times. It drives me mad. Game is amazing, but absolutely unplayable in co-op... Any help?

DampendairI've learned that, if you remove items from your inventory, then quickly disconnect, it duplicates the items. Similarly, if one adds an item to their inventory then gets disconnected, the item is deleted. This feature would both prevent item dupage and item deletion. Currently, a dedicated player could make any item worthless by disconnecting strategically. This would be a good feature.
