It would be great if there was some kind of warning before server restart
If you don't know when a server is set to restart, you just suddenly get "Disconnected from Server" and you can't even tell it was from a restart, just seems like a network error.
Ideally, server admins would have a configurable warning time and message, this was common in games in the 2000s i ran servers for, dunno why modern games seem to have forgotten it. Something simple as an alert like "Server will reboot in X minutes," where the server admin defines X.
If it's not easy to have it user-definable, then at least 1-5 minutes before restart, the server should 1) Display a message on the HUD "Server restarting: X time" and 2) not let anyone connect during these last few minutes with the message "Server restarting soon, check back in a few minutes."
Failing any of the above, at LEAST some kind of automatic "Server is now restarting" message would be nice so we know what just happened heh.

Dennis DayI would be happy with an option to send a message from CLI to the game in progress. That way I can schedule it as a separate task. This would allow me to sent messages at any interval I choose.
