Request for Optional Camera Lock / Reduced Vertical Smoothing

1 votes

I’d like to request an additional camera option in Enshrouded to improve responsiveness during vertical movement.

Currently, when moving up or down stairs or steep inclines, the camera exhibits noticeable vertical smoothing/lag. This creates a disconnect between character movement and camera framing, making traversal feel less responsive and requiring constant manual correction.

Suggested solution:
Add a toggleable setting such as:

* “Camera Lock to Character (Vertical Axis)” or
* “Reduce/Disable Vertical Camera Smoothing”

This could function by tightening or removing the vertical interpolation so the camera tracks elevation changes more directly with the character.

Why this matters:

* Improves control precision during traversal
* Reduces motion discomfort caused by delayed camera response
* Gives players flexibility between cinematic smoothing and responsive control

Ideally, this would be an optional setting so players can choose the camera behavior that fits their preference.

Thank you for your consideration.
