Fade out obstructions between the player character and the camera.
Especially when exploring in dense foliage, there are many times when I can't even see my own character let alone what's in front of them. It's easy to accidentally walk off of a cliff or stumble into enemies because even though the character isn't in the foliage, the camera is.
I suggest that any obstructions between the camera and the player character simply become translucent so we can see that they're there, but also see what is in front of our character.
