Gemstone information after embedding one

It seems when I place a gemstone into a weapon slot, I have seen no way of indicating what that gemstones stats are while its embedded. It would be nice if when hovering over the gemstone that I would see the information of that stone.

MediocrePlusYou can see the stats by pressing R while having the weapon selected in your inventory/bag, but yes something changed with the gemforge UI in a recent update; that has made upgrading and navigating the gemforge even harder- you can't even see the benefit of what upgrading a socketed gem does until you leave the forge UI.
