Add Party / Guild / Player Groups
For hosting a game like this there should be a party or guild system, so people are free to play with and tribe with who they wish and are not all forced into the same group.
A few games have this issue one in particular called Icarus anyone who joins the server has access to everything which can cause massive issues.
16 players on a dedicated server is great but all forced in the same group to have access to everyone’s stuff to be able to destroy or delete anything they wish is a recipe for disaster.

Redman247 MergedWould like the ability to upload a custom png with transparency into the game to be used as logos for banners, flags or on shields. Make it client or custom server bound so it's not on keen to build each new logo into the game.

AstianI agree, hopefully the max players gets upped to like 40, similar to ark if it can, but if not its still doable, as well as some implementation of PVP dedicated serves or pve where there can be guild wars which makes thinking about building a kingdom much more intense and strategic

ApothecaryIn addition to having clans/groups to add griefing prevention, its been one day and there are people running around in public servers bombing peoples bases and destroying everything they can and stealing loot and leaving, adding grief prevention would disable terrain destruction in the flames building area and building destruction, and deny access to containers.

we are supposed to be a flameborn working together with other flameborn (like the npcs) to push back the shroud. -

IllusionRayYeah definitly a must have but atm its not possible, they need to implement player based quest progression and multiple npc's instance befor they can do that its literaly tied to it, you cant have multiple clan/guild if everyone share the same progression and npc's thats prety much why its not there.

Soul of Someones MotherPersonally I think that this type of system would be antithetical to the game. Since, ya know, it's billed as a *Co-op* survival base building game,the game isn't really centered around PVP, or to my knowledge has any. Like Stellarskys said in his comment, "We are supposed to be Flameborn working together with other flameborn (Like the NPCs) to push back the shroud" I don't see how Guilds could forward this mechanic without a whole alternate feature that allows and incentivizes folks to embrace and spread the shroud and create some type of non artificial conflict.

Personally I think a lot of these things aside from maybe a PNG that can be put on a banner or armor, can just be accomplished by starting a Discord.Server -

Erisa party or group system might help if coupled with better quest sharing design since most co-op players are struggling with that.

JamesAgreed, people should not be able to teleport into my base just because we're in the same server. Having ownership of an altar and being able to allow party members / friends to fast travel to your base. Just one of the reasons it would be great to have parties.

siehawkI instantly began hosting my own dedicated server and started my first character there. I was pleased to see random people joining and enjoying the server until I realized they could destroy anything I had built and loot all my boxes. It only took about 3 days for my base to be completely destroyed by players and all my stored items looted. On top of that, there were some odd structures players had built, and I could not destroy/remove them even with my own flame right there! Randoms can destroy and take away all my stuff but somehow their structures are preserved? As the server host, and as someone joining my server for the first time.. who's investments in the game are being protected here?

Then there are loot thieves who just come on to steal and disappear. While the point of this game is "coop", the truth is I (and I'm sure most other players) won't be touching this title again for a long, long time, if ever, if the development team doesn't address this issue. Please allow the host to lock flame altar building to just either the creator or a pre-approved list of builders, and add locked containers.

DzanianI totally agree, I hate to set a passwort to my dedi server - if I let it open, I have to import an older backup where the buildings are not destroyed but, of course, loosing all positiv things which have been done to the server save file. Any kind of access system to flame altar areas / clan / group etc. have to be implemented

I totally agree with this. I run multiple servers and they are all open to anyone. I had to close my Enshrouded server due to bad characters. they would join and destroy stuff.... buildings, npcs, chests and much more. I ended up getting a lot of complaints and ended up securing the server with a password. Would like a Ban and IPban feature along with a Kick player timer.
