OrthoPHI agree to this, but I don't know yet if there's an item needs to be crafted to determine the time like in Minecraft. There are times its hard to noticed the daylight if you're inside a cave or building, since the lighting seems a little off.

PETRYES. THERE IS NOT ENOUGH CLOCK ON THE SCREEN, LIKE AN HOURGLASS OR A SOLAR ONE, IT DOES NOT MATTER. VISUALLY, IN 15 HOURS OF PLAYING, I COULD NOT LEARN HOW TO DETERMINE TIME.

NightmareAsylum MergedI'd like to know what time of day it is and when its about to be night time as I like to sleep through the night, so to have something showing this would be a nice feature

Crashed MonkeyThis, but also, a small change, can we add system time or local time somewhere to the Hud? I get very immersed sometimes and lose track

BloodyspyMaybe a "clock" like in Elden Ring (just to give an example) that just determines when does the sun goes up, how long and then going down and how much night you have left would be good, not a real clock

Andrew ChapmanThere are sometimes when you get either making your base or reworking it and you forget the time - so you dont nkow if you should either wait for the next day or go out while there is still daylight but get caught up in the night. So a way to tell the time would be real handy.

Str8shot81gaming MergedWould like to have something showing what time of day it is. maybe where the sun is and the moon? It would be nice to know before leaving on an adventure if in need to wait a few minutes to sleep before going.

Wendy MergedThis game could use a Time of day on the HUD or maybe a button to show the time.

Safirasdoes not have to be an accurate time with minutes, but some indicator how much daytime is left (or nighttime).

That would be amazing -

Mladen MihajlovicThis would be great - it's hard to tell sometimes whether I should wait by a bed.

EricYes this goes along with the weathe request in my opinion, having seasons, time, and dates would be cool to see progress as you play.

ArdithPlease this is so desparately needed. It doesn't add any immersion to be unaware of the time.. it's just a painful missing mechanic. I do think it is sensible to make it something you need to craft an item in order to have but it should be reasonably early game like by the time you clear the Elixer Well type of thing you're crafting something to make you at least aware of whether it's morning, midday, afternoon, evening etc. Just helps you plan what you're going to do with the rest of your day and not venture out somewhere then end up in pitch black.

Luufin MergedI would love to see some sort of "clock" in one of the screen corners, to get a rough idea of how long you have left of daylight or night time.

Pixie MergedIt would be helpful to see the time of day so you can plan to stop somewhere if needed before dark. Maybe in the map.

Ataraxis7We can build a sundial that will work with both sun and moon ingame, mountaintop works best. Not saying i wouldn't also enjoy a clock; perhaps we can earn with some artisan tools found in a quest for the blacksmith or alchemist.

W.J.JongeneelA few building thought for time-based building:
1. A golden Sundial - Beautiful as a center base piece.
2. Bell tower - A bell chimes in the morning, afternoon, evening and when night falls. or at player set times during the day.
3. Hourglass - Drain at dawn, is emptied when the next day start. A physical meter reads what time it is.
4. Clock tower - Mechanical-hydraulic clock with a 12 hour or 24 hour piece in many colors and style. -

Richard Savage MergedIt would be good to know the time of day when you start a quest. Quite often I log on, start a quest and end up in darkness part way through the quest.

XavierBeeing able to craft a solar clock. And when you builded and positionned it in the game (in your village) then you are able to have approx time appearing on the interface anywhere. Like that you have a new item to craft and also a notion of Time.

Angel AvalonYES!!! But ALSO....
A slower sunrise/sunset should be implemented.
Its weird how one moment its night, the next is bright shining day...and vice versa. I think a slower transition period would make it feel much more natural. -

Paul JAgreed. More accurate clocks can be craftable recipes - as we see in other games, the basic clock only tells the hour; the intermediate clock tells the hour and minute; finally the top tier clock also counts the seconds.
Additionally, even without a clock I suggest the game allow a display of rough time of day e.g. "morning, mid morning, noon, afternoon, evening, night". Yes I know you can simply look at the sky, but sometimes it isn't very clear to us; on the other hand, it makes sense for the character living in the game world to know that it is morning. -
