Get rid of Fog indoors
We shouldn't see fog inside of any of our built structures. It's as if the fog from outside is just clipping into the indoors. It looks quite bad and is distracting.

Not just indoors. Need the option to turn down or off global fog. Not SHROUD. The glare is often unbearable from fog. -

Notic MergedHi! It isn't the end of the world, but it is a bit immersion breaking stepping into the home I built and it being covered in fog. So far this is really my only gripe for now aside from jittery framerate. Having a lot of fun and would love to see this adjusted. Thank you!

Tim MergedHouses fill with fog in the day time.
Any are that is programmed to enable the 'Sheltered' condition should also remove fog. -

TroutForClout MergedThis game has gorgeous ambience, and lighting. Exploring the world night and day is absolutely stunning, after I return to my Flame Altar and built structures its not the same story...
Hazy Fog and Bloom has taken over the inside of my base, no surface is safe from a fog trying to fill the insides of every space, bugging out with lighting glitches as the fog doesn't know how to behave inside.
PLEASE!!!
Remove the foggy haze from Flame Altar'/Building area.
With such a fantastic base building mechenic it is hard to admire when foggy haze is EVERYWHERE! -

MessiahI kinda like the cosy feel it gives. At first I thought it was smoke and that I needed a chimney like in Valveim but I understood it's just mist from outside. It does not bother me that much but if it's not meant to be there then it should be removed.

KingKoobaI've literally stopped building my base because of how jarring the fog indoors is. I have no idea how this could have released as such given how bad it is. There is no reason to make a concentrated effort to make a good looking base when it's ruined by the bloom and fog, and with no other endgame content I'm not sure why I would want to keep playing.

RayI would assume if I didn't put in any windows and there is just a hole in the wall, that fog might end up happening but after putting effort into a structure it would make sense to keep the weather effects out from the inside.

FoxenThe only fog should be in the shroud and care should be taken that it is just not glare, bloom.

Roy BStruggling with this. Killing the eyes. Please adjust bloom and fog. Really tough to keep playing, and believe me, I desperately wanna keep playing. Appreciate a quick fix!

FreeLookMode MergedI'm sad that this does not have more upvotes. I'm searching to see if there's another thread with more traction. Fog inside my house makes me deeply sad. :(

DDWould work best if there just was no fog inside the range of your Flame Altars, or at leas only on the edges. That's what the altars are supposed to do, after all, hold back the fog, so it fits with the lore/narrative.

DDBetter yet, since the Flame Altars are supposed to push back the fog, have them actually do that: No fog inside Flame Altar building boundaries, or only a bit on the edges. This would be easier to implement than only in buildings as well.

LibertyI haven't thought of it as fog coming inside, looks more like dust sprites lighting up with the light coming in through the cracks, like in a rl barn eg. It recedes somewhat (less noticeable) when wall lighting is added.

TomFrom what I can tell that's just the visual way of indicating it's not warm. If your base is warm there is no fog.

QuorThis issue is a huge development oversite. It should of never been a thing to see fog in buildings

JayPlease remove fog inside of your base (and the bloom from windows, or reduce it)
It's crazy and overwhelming my entire build at the moment. Any room or ceiling larger or further away than 4x4 is just dominated by fog -

HappyHauntLeave well enough alone, I live in an area that has a reputation for heavy fog. Hence I see fog in my house occasionally if doors are left open or if there are open windows. So far I have only seen one window with glass in it so it stands to reason that you will occasionally see fog indoors.

JesI would like to see the option to turn off global fog period. Not the shroud just the global fog. It is very uncomfortable for my eyes! I have messed around with graphic card settings and still can not get rid of the GLARE! Specially in the desert areas.

SkiRich MergedFog inside sheltered areas need to have a setting to allow it to be removed. Or develop an asset that we can install in a flame altar area that removes fog from the area.

Darena BryantThis is so bad in my house that I asked in the Steam discussions if there was a smoke mechanic I was unaware of.

Definitely something that needs looking into. Perhaps make it that warmth drives back fog or Shroud spore clouds? -

PansyWhile I 100% agree with the comment, I also worry that enabling this will create too many new "safe places" in the shroud and take too much of the exciting fear away from the shroud.

Outojust add an item that is only places in build areas and make it cheap that removes the fog permanently in a given radius, ie a torch
