  I'm pretty happy with the way magic chests work for building/crafting if I'm being completely honest and do so a lot of value in drastically changing this system.
  
  I do see a lot of value in a restock magic chests in base option. End game whenever you're out exploring you have to go back to your base every hour or so, open every magic chest, click shift+R, and go back to where you were. A hotkey or menu option to "restock" all magic chests and basically dump your inventory in your base would be so helpful.
  
  On average I spend a lot more time dumping loot in a playsession than finding items for crafting, especially mid/late game.

  there are magical chests later on in the game that allow for this. Whether its a good thing that its progression gated or not remains to be seen. Personally, I'd like it to be proximity based where crafting stations can use anything from chests nearby. the magical chest would then be changed to have unlimited crafting range, auto sorting when interacting with a single chest, AND the players would be able to craft a 1-time use item that allowed them to pull stuff out or deposit it into the chests while out in the field.

  You can't build with the hammer using items in the magic chests. You also can't use the other crafting stations with items from the magic chests.
  
  Need to be able to select how many of something you want to create with a crafting station, and que that up with resources from the magic chests.
  
  This feature being gated behind progression is also frustrating. It's just really fun to build without being gated by having to manage 500 tiny boxes. There is no gameplay add for having tiny inventory/storage management problems. Not everything needs to be some annoying system to use. The building in this game is amazing -- let people enjoy it fully from the get go while exploring/leveling up. Otherwise it feels like there is no point in starting to build cool stuff until late game.
  
  I wanna use my cool base while leveling/exploring -- not build a cool base after I've done all the progression. The current implementation needs work. It's a hassle to move things because inventory management.

  Please improve the crafting system and building system in a way, that you have access during crafting and building to all your items in every storage in the base you are actual building/crafting.

  let the materials in storage be used for crafting without having to move them into your inventory, also make it so when you do craft something, there a more streamlined way to place it. its annoying to get it out of your backpack, then equip it ...then place it

  Hello there, can you implement a short proximity chest that can pull out resources for auto-crafting, one major problem I found about playing similar games like "My Time at Portia" is that the more things I have to manage the more tedious it becomes, making the game a chore. You could also specify the target chest where the different crafters can pull the resources by allowing us to rename the chests and have a drop-down list or another lore-friendly interaction to specify which chest can take the materials.   Once you unlock the carpenter you will be able to craft magic chests which will allow you to build stuff without taking it out of the chest.

  I am not sure if this is already a thing but it would be nice not to have to go to our chests to grab our materials when we want to craft something, like other crafting survival games like Palworld and beyond do this, Would make things much easier!

  Crafting feels clunky when building at your home base. I suggest being able to pull from your chests while at the home base to be able to build/craft. It would make it easier on the player to focus on crafting and building without having to pull from your own chests.
