Allow more existing world props, decorations, items and materials to be placed and crafted
There's so many cool props in the world, like wood planks, wood stairs, tall windows and many other decorations that can't be built and placed. I'd love to see those added including many more things to make a town truly extraordinary!

Eccho MergedThere are so many cool pieces out in the world. I’ve seen an old school metal stove, ropes hanging from the roof with hanging bones tied in them, bottles and broken chests, those adorable carts on the side of the road.
I have progressed to the game allowing me to make glass however still limited primarily to different cups plates and bowls.
I want my farmer to be standing by a table with food on display. My alchemist to have bottles and jars filling shelves.
I want hanging ropes and leather drying racks and pots that I can grow seeds in.
I’d love to be able to collect bits of clutter in the world even if I can’t craft them. These would be a far greater trophy than any monster head.
I could enjoy a category named clutter that is for visual appeal only and doesn’t contribute to base comfort.
It would also be great if perhaps holding Ctrl and R allowed rotation on an axis. I have seen barrels and other debris laying on their side and envied them many a time. -

Bry MergedI've done a lot of exploring in the world throughout various buildings. I've seen a lot of things and had a lot of great ideas. Several things specifically come to mind.
1. There is a very cozy inn up near Mark of Sameth. It's basically the tavern everyone dreams of and one item it has that really bugs me that we don't have the option to build is a railing for balconies.
2. Wood and Iron Lanterns/Lamp Posts are seen throughout springlands and revelwood. I have mined iron, made glass, and the only lamp post/lantern option I've seen are fireflies, and the lamps in the desert.
3. Paintable paths? Currently I can force a path to go where I want it to by raking it, and maybe I am doing something wrong. But it would be a lot easier to just have "path blocks" that could be used for making paths.
4. Repair structures. I've found several towns I would love to form a base out of. I don't want to have to blow up all the buildings to make it happen. Let me repair the damage and make i -

Surefoot MergedA decorative item that allows you to display an object in your inventory. Everything already has a mesh that's displayed when you pick it up off the ground, it would be nice to decorate our builds by arranging food on tables, weapons on walls, and generally clutter our builds with objects.
Ideally, 3 axis of rotation with a surface distance offset to fine-tune placement, but I would settle for surface mounted no different than what's already implemented.
The item stand is placed on a surface, then the inventory item assigned to the stand.
It would be important that they're not easily picked up, so perhaps a "Hold to Pickup" button prompt on a very low priority to ensure a highly decorated area doesn't get in the way of normal base operations like talking to NPCs or interacting with chests. -

Joao MergedAs the title explains, the game already has alot of decor assests such as baskets of clothing, kettles, wheelbarrows, medieval plows for the fields, non functional but decorative ovens, window curtains, more carpets, more clutter etc. Would be awesome if we could craft these and place them ourselves to really decorate our builds and make them feel alive. Another thing is massively reduce the cost of book decorations. I gotta press "E" 80 times to craft 3 books in a row? 80 old books turn into 1 piece of decor... Really? Who thought that was a good idea?

Tammy B MergedI know I am not the only person that takes base building to the extremes. I would seriously love to be able to build out door decor just as much as the inside.
I'd love to be able to craft and place barrels, crates, large vases, buckets, farming equipment, wall decor like shields, tapestries with the game lore, and/or flowered vases and plants to place. Hanging planter boxes, or leafy vines, to say attach to the buildings would be even cooler! For an example like the Hunters lodge, adding wall decor like nets, animal skulls, more fur based rug types, and so on would be the chefs kiss. I currently have about 20 hours so maybe there is more I need to unlock but I have all the crafter' now and I am just building each of them their own house/shop.

Producer K MergedAdding item stands, (like in Valheim), for our weapons. shields, and armor to be displayed would be awesome. The weapons alone look so good it would be nice to be able to show them off instead of dumping them into a box. Also, I agree with many of the suggestions here. Food and other items in game should be able to be placed on item stands. It gives a more creative look and feel with a unique personalization to every players build. And having plants in pots, that's a great idea. When done people. This subject needs some more love and attention!

Eryn MergedI build a lot and although you can do amazing things, for me there are a few things missing:
- be able to obtain all building materials you find in the world (example: carved wooden fence / hand railing).
- a garden gate. Using a normal door in this setting just looks ridiculous. I now build windows and use those placed at 90 degrees to simulate gates. Not ideal - and not safe! -

It already has a model.
Plus potions, flasks, bandages, etc.
Everything that already drops from vases and had a model should also be a furniture item.

Jim Smith MergedLike with old books, can we collect furniture, items and clutter we fund in the world. We see a lot of fun items laying around in the world, and it would be great to pick these things up and become digital hoarders/ collectors and fill our bases with items we find in Hallow halls and old settlements in the Kindlewastes.
Maybe by collecting these items, it gives us the recipes to make new ones. I'd love to place down an old plow or have some of the kitchen items I see as decorations in new builds. Please add this! Thanks -

To add the Kindlewastes Sun Temple colored clay pots for users to craft at the Kiln. Since they are colored their crafting recipe could also be adding "saffron" by example since it's collected from the area. They come in multiple sizes and colors.

Berrigold MergedI have found so many things in world that I want to craft! It's unreal how many of them you CAN NOT! A cute little kitchen, the wooden railings, just GRASS without stones, decor items, I could go on and on. Please let us craft ALL items we can find in world eventually.
This is KILLING ME! I can't fix the railing in my home because I can't craft the rails. I can't put pure grass along my walkways without it being filled with rocks. -

Stephanie Ford MergedIt would be amazing to have more decorative clutter, like hail bails, sacks of flour,farm tools different foods for the kitchens to have larders with stock, having more sitting furniture with padding like a medieval type couch.
Perhaps when we salvage weapons we could have an option to make them decortive to add clutter to the black smiths. And an npc idea is a tailor type character that will allow us to change the colors of our armour and until water perhaps water fountains until actual water is possible -

Keith MergedI really want to use the the terrain types that you can find around the map in my builds, Anything glowing or that has special effects to it like the sludge or oily terrain or the red, blue and green glowing terrain voxels you can find in enshrouded zones and hollow halls. Some of them could really cool in a base if utilized right. I basically want to have the tools to be able to make most anything i can find on the map myself.
It would be also be nice to be able to build the grate props. -

AaronI wish this suggestion was getting more traction because I think it would be a huge improvement! I've been able to place many of the other props, including all the really cool light fixtures we don't have access to, using a certain third party program and the creativity it adds to builds is amazing. Most of these props should just be unlocked in the vanilla game (I understand the devs not wanting to give access to props like the ancient tower pieces, but there are so many others that could be added without breaking the lore).

unfamiliar llama MergedWould love to see more variety in decor and ways you can personalize your interiors. Color waves for curtains, bedding, upholstery. Decorative tchotchkes, maybe that you obtain from NPC’s or friends, a variety of rugs, pillows, art for the walls, tile for kitchens and bath, pet beds/toys, etc. - I could spend hours fine detailing the interiors of these structures but right now they’re all pretty rustic and predictable.
