Centralized chest network / Show all storage in one place
Some kind of screen that we can look at to get a summary of everything we have in all our magic chests. As we get further through the game there are quite a lot of different types of items, and having a report screen that we can look at to see what we are getting low on without having to check all the chests manually would be great.

I would like a magic scroll where I can check the content and quantity of items of blue magic chests placed at the base. This way you can check if you have the desired item or the required quantity of the item. It would be a way to save time. -

zirea Mergedcan we have Beter container system going through every box looking for something is not that great how about when you add boxes it increases size but when you open it you see it as one inventory even better have categories like crafting weapons / food you could also have a main hub all crates connect two

JoshIt would be much easier if all you were doing when adding another chest is adding slots to a common chest list instead of going from each chest to chest.

Traveler MergedYES PLEASE, I'm mostly interested in building in this game but I'm finding so much of my playtime is going into cleaning and arranging my storage and running from one storage box to another. This is not fun gameplay and makes me feel burnt out. I would rather spend my time crafting and building or exploring. This is actually the main thing keeping me from exploring. Since your back bag also fills up fast, you need to return to store everything quite often, and around your storage boxes you run and sort again... If you had one storage you could quickly return to your base to quickly deposit eveything to storage and then return to exploring without needing to run to all of your individual storage boxes. I need a lot of all kinds of materials to fulfill my building needs, so while exploring I collect EVERYTHING. Another solution would be to make crafting and building to require significantly less materials, but I think Enshrouded is already quite forgiving in this.

Traveler MergedI got an additional idea regarding having a common base storage inventory: A late-game player upgrade item could be e.g. a magical gem you can equip, maybe acquired via the alchemist, that would allow you to deposit 3-5 slots from your back bag into your base inventory every 30 minutes or so from wherever you are - this would allow you to keep exploring longer without needing to constantly interrupt your travels to fast travel back to your base.

WJSOops, didn't notice this one before I posted my own suggestion. Yeah, that sounds like a good way to handle it, if each small magic chest has three rows then building two would have a shared inventory with six rows, three would have a shared inventory with nine rows etc... it might get a bit busy later on though, a single inventory with hundreds of rows would be quite the pain to go through so I'm not sure. At the moment I tend to place one magic chest with each rescued NPC, with filled with items that match them thematically. Makes finding what you need easy, though you hardly ever actually have to get anything out of chests manually anyway, since both crafting with the NPCs and processing with their buildings draw from the magic chests.

The_BofrostmannA hopper would be also great that allows you to feed in all your items/stacks and it is distributed to the chest from there to automate the process of sorting and storaging all your loot.

Entropos MergedI'd like to see something like an "Magical Inventory Ledger - a single point for accessing all magical chests at a base.
It would be ideal if it let you access the chests as a single giant inventory and could do sorting, but - even just a tabbed view of all chests would be helpful. Another option would be to toggle the view between "character inventory + chest x" and "chest x and chest y".
This could be something expensive (in terms or resources) to build, or a quest object. Maybe a quest from the carpenter or farmer (since she had a tavern).
I don't think this should be a trivial thing to obtain, but I'd love to see a way to manage inventory without having to manually go from box to box. This is especially true since there is currently no way to make labels in the game (at least not without using massive amounts of space using individual blocks to spell out text). -

ArkI feel like this would be incredible for the quality of life, for example if it were added as a new type of "chest", that has no storage of its own but instead allows you to take/deposit items from other magic chests. This way people who want to sort things their own way could just not use it, but those who do could make a storage house, place all their chests there and then have this one "storage interface" at their house. For me and my group it would save tons to time sorting and opening dozens of chests just to try "SHIFT R" into them.
For example Terraria has similar thing as a mod "Magic Storage" -

KeinTalent MergedMagical chests in Enshrouded already enable wireless crafting, but managing resources could be even more efficient.
Proposed Feature: Magical Storage Interface / Central Hub
A Magical Table would act as a central hub, giving players:
- Full Storage Overview – Access all magical chests from one interface
- Smart Item Storage – An input/output chest auto-sorts items into the best-suited chests
- Effortless Inventory Management – No need to search or manually organize stacks
Benefits:
- Faster access to materials
- Automated sorting for better organization
- Enhanced storage flow
This system would refine inventory handling while keeping Enshrouded immersive and user-friendly.
This idea is based on the well-known ME-System from Minecraft.
Best regards -

Steve G MergedWe could connect magic chests to each other so when adding to a full chest, overflow is sent to the next chest, or sends to the relevant stack within the chest chain. There could be a chest chain limit / range limit between them to keep necessity for bigger chests, or make cost of making connection high ?
I think it's common to pick up everything you find when adventuring to stock up the base, this would make it much quicker to drop it all off at the base. -

PaulzzzSearch function similar to inventory window of guildwars2. Type a word then window only shows those items that has that keyword.
Sorting tabs/ groupings. Similar again to guild wars 2 crafting materials bank. Crafting materials are grouped by functions or type. Like ores and their upgrades, alchemy mats, skins and leathers, plants, foods, etc. each material stacks upto 250 -

Sinsar MergedAs the title implies this would be a menu option to view the inventory pooled together at each of your flame altars by the magic chests within your flame altar zones. The pooled inventory would appear as a list that could be filtered for specific item types, alphabetically, or even by weight for those using this mechanic. This would allow for easier searches of multiple base inventory pools instead of digging through chests just to find out you left what you needed at another flame altar or never had to at all.

Nacho_Boss MergedAs a player, I want to access all magic chests within range from any table, tool, or backpack in the same way I can access them when crafting so that I don't have to go to each chest to find something.
Example: When I open my backpack within range of Magic chests, I should be able to see a list similar to the categories you see when using the workbench (Essentials, Blocks, Roof Blocks, et cetera). I want to see categories of items across all my magic chests and drill into them to pick what I want and move it to my backpack. -

We waste a lot of time putting all the resources in each chest.

SamI would even go as far as having one and only chest for all crafting materials (a bit like a wallet of resources).
As the game progresses it becomes more and more tedious to store everything after each run, which is tedious. I understand the concept, but survival games have come a long way, and it's time this system goes. There is enough to do that we don't have to spend hours reworking our storage system every 10-20h.
You can keep chest for equipment, cosmetic, consumables etc. which is already enough to handle. -

Riccardo Piovan MergedLikely, what I am about to say was already sent as feedback from the community, but I'll say it anyway to reinforce the need of those option, I was playing with some friends on discord from time to time, and we built some vault to keep the stuff we found on the world but we were always bickering for misplacements in the storage.
- The ability to have a name displayed on the storage crates, which will be useful when there are no magical crates available. Other survival games allow you to write what a crate is supposed to contain like 7 days to die. no need to copy but at least have some sign or category to give them
- Even more important, the ability to treat all the magic crates in the range of a flame as a single inventory, and filling the item stacks not complete in other crates before creating new ones, interacting with any crate. This will reduce tedious inventory management a lot especially if there are dozens around and make the crates feel more magical.
Hope this was us -

pdarwin25 MergedThe chests provided in the game hold up to 56 items. They are not interlinked (just single chests). When you have many chests lining large rooms, there are many duplicated items in more than one chest. It is extremely time consuming and difficult to sort same items into the same chest(s). This also makes it very difficult to find items you want/need.
I suggest that a very large sorting container (a linked space for placing chests) may be used to auto-sort like items so that they may be extracted and placed in the current chests by the player. In this way, all of the like items can be more readily stored and maintained. -

TheGrumpyHusband MergedPlease add a storage item that allows access to all storage at a base all at once. To not be immersion breaking it could be simply a magical tome or altar that when interacted with, allows a user to view and scroll through the entirety of storage within a base. This item could be used to allow depositing/withdrawal of items into the storage boxes as well as utilizing the inventory sort feature in game to organize and condense item stacks across all boxes. Of course if there is an issue with magical vs non-magical boxes then add an UI option to choose one or the other when interacting with the storage station. This could even be expanded to allow cross-base/flame altar inventory access to make moving bases or establishing new bases easier.

Joseph Heath MergedCurrently, our inventory management has a progress of personal to chest to magic chest, but it constantly maintains the tedium of spending time in inventory management hell. Let me propose that we add an upgrade building/NPC (bank) that links nearby magical chests with the player(s). the player opens up his inventory and it gives another tab that, when opened, lets them access their global bank.

Agasutin MergedA magical chest that shows the combined contents of all magical chests in the building area, that you can also use to deposit your items which get placed in available stacks/slots. a QoL inventory upgrade that takes the hassle away from digging through a dizzying number boxes to deposit your items cleanly.
OR
All magical chests have this function by default, they are magical after all, simply make more chests to expand the space in which it can store items, and any chest gives access to the full list of items inside the magical chests of that particular building area. An upgrade to this would be an expensive chest that can see the inventory of all magical chests in the world.
