Crafted item hotbar under construction hammer
One thing that would tremendously speed things up when I'm remodeling a base would be a hotbar dedicated to items that are crafted at the bench, on person, etc. This could be included only when using the construction hammer as one of the line options, or as a switchable hotbar. This way if we have 10 storage boxes, 5 torches, tables, chairs, and crafting stations we won't have to go in and out of our backpack over and over just to set it to our standard hotbars. It would greatly reduce the tedium of placing any crafted items and not require us to exit the building menu.

The ability to have a 7th customizable hotbar in the building hammer to save specific building options. This would eliminate the need to access the ALT menu to scroll through options if you need a single 1m terrain block in the middle of using the other terrain blocks that you are frequently using for that specific build. -

MarleneI would also prefer this very much. Adding furniture into the building menu could also reduce the pick up prompts when surrounded by things I've placed. And ideally it would also offer the option to place furniture out of a magic chest and offer the option to place things like food, potions, materials or any other items around the base.

Cole Younger MergedIt could be added as another row in block placement menu. Options would be as follows:
Place Object - Works just like placing any prop currently does, except allows you to place any item that has a 3d model into the world. Should have an item list like the block material list on the right.
Remove Object - same as hold E to pickup, except i would give it Left click to pickup (no delay), hold Right click to destroy (so if you don't want the object in your inventory you just want it gone.
Rotate Placed Object - Click on an object already placed, then you can manipulate its rotation without picking it up or moving it.
Nudge Placed Object - Click on an object already placed, and you can translate it around. Ideally, it would be nice to get a widget like in a 3d program for translation/rotation options, at least on PC version.
Main goal with this mode of the hammer would be decorating, filling bowls with piles of food stuffs, putting a bunch of arrows in a basket, shelf of m -
