Andrew Gamble MergedAdd the ability in game, to store an items appearance once equipped once. Then once equipping a weapon, you can press "R" as per the armor tab, to change the appearance of your weapon.
This would in turn allow for more creativeness as your weapons could all be adjusted to similar designs or be made to match whatever armor design you choose. -

Auren DawnstarI would love to be able to transmog the appearance of my weapons. There are certain styles I love the look of, but they often either have traits I don't want or don't have high-quality variants to use.
Alternatively, overhauling weapon crafting to let us pick a weapon style, and then slot the weapon traits we want to use would give weapon crafting a much-needed boost to its relevance in the game progression. -

ThaumatosI know the arguments made on the dev side of keeping weapon animations and functions true their models. I would caveat this ask with *only weapons of the same type can be used*
Many games do it this way without causing too much of an outcry from those of us who want a particular look all the way down to the weapon. -

Amariie MergedWe should be able to use weapons and shields as cosmetics on items of the same type. The Wailing Blade and Pikemead's Bulwark look so cool, but get outleveled so fast that you can't carry them for long without hampering your progression.

losslessI would love this ability, I like the look of some of the more normal/less legendary weapons and would love to use their look while using something powerful.

Darkwytch2 MergedI'd love to see us able to do weapon cosmetics as well, there have been some weapons that I've loved the look of but they aren't powerful enough to use. I'd like to be able to change their appearance like I do my outfits.

BluSleeperYESSSS! Please add us ability to change the appearance of weapons. For example there are low level weapons that look cool or matches our outfits so it is nice to be able to utilize the looks even for higher level weapons. :D

ArandomgamerI don't like fancy looks and prefer more grounded design, the endgame weapon looks too fancy for my taste, a transmog for weapons would be great.

Aaron MergedSo I've been playing Enshrouded for about 200 hours, and I've 100%'d the game as a preface to this. I've just come up with a few ideas that I'll list in bullet form that need, in my eyes, to be implemented.
* Back slots in the character sheet, showing either what your current backpack is, or allowing your shield to rest there on your back instead of constantly being on your arm.
* Blocks that allow the player to make circles, or more geometrical shapes instead of blocks. As well as terraforming abilities that allow massive amounts of rock, stone and dirt to be moved in buildable areas.
* Transmogable weapons, essentially making a weapon look like another weapon, while keeping its stats. I adore weapons that look grittier, or maybe a weapon that glows. I'd also like for updates on which areas are currently being looked at for editing. My previous base was unfortunately consumed by the shrouded during the January update.
Thank you for taking the time to read this over. Ever -

StygianIkazuchiI agree with the suggestion. More specific example and implementation idea:
Allow the ability to change the appearance of your weapon or shield with any other version of that weapon/shield type that you have. For example, I have Shroud Weaver that I use on my mage. However, my mage uses the Fluffy cosmetic set, and the Staff of the Ram would look much more fitting, but it's objectively weaker than the Shroud Weaver. I would like the ability to copy the appearance of the Staff of the Ram into a cosmetic Staff slot so that whenever I equip a staff, it uses the appearance of the Staff of the Ram using the same method armor cosmetics work (aka requiring you to actually have a copy of the item you want the appearance of)
In other words, an addition of Cosmetic Slots for each weapon/shield type: Sword, 1H Axe, 2H Axe, 1H Club, 2H Club, Dagger, Bow, Staff, Wand, Shield and Ward for maximum customizability without making animations look awkward. -

A MergedSince a lvl 7 legendary is completely unusable at lvl 27 let us be able to use our legendaries as a cosmetic weapon skin like how we're able to do with armor. There's so many really cool looking legendaries that are just completely unusable. Let us at least enjoy the looks of them on weapons we can use.

krbjms MergedI like swords, but a sword I like does less that the sword I use. If it could be handled like armor, where you keep the sword you like and use it to keep the sword you use looking the way you want.

SamAgreed, extending the current cosmetics system to cover weapons would be great. I'm currently mixing and matching armor which has an orange glow to it (the gloves are for rangers, but I keep them as a cosmetic). I also have a sword and shield that would work really well VISUALLY with that outfit... but the problem is, the weapon and shield that work well MECHANICALLY for my build both glow blue at the moment and therefore don't match. So I have no choice but to have mismatched gear. If I could just put the weapon and armor I have into a cosmetic slot for each, my problem would be gone.
Sure, it's not a huge issue, but I think this would also give you a reason to go back and do old quests and explore lower level zones to get the cool-looking loot you missed out on. At the moment, low-level gear is just salvage fodder and nothing else - this would allow you to use them even late-game if you liked the look! I mean for example, the lunar gear looks awesome but I can't use any of them! -

Nikki MergedWe have the ability to wear different attires over our armor; it would be super cool to be able to do this with our weapons. Some weapons have different designs that fit a specific style but don't have the same damage capabilities as others.

PaulJGonna repeat what I mentioned in the general transmog thread, that transmogs should simply be unlockables. Right now you have to hang on to the item you want to use as a cosmetic, which means by lategame you will likely have chests full of junk that you keep on the off chance that you might happen to want to wear something as a cosmetic. What a waste of storage space.
Transmog slots shouldn't be inventory slots, but a selection of slot-appropriate skins that you've unlocked. Unlocking something should be as simple as picking it up (i.e. it appears in your inventory).
> "What about dyes and colours?"
Why can't they be applied to transmog skins? Should work exactly the same as applying dye on gear.
If you've unlocked a transmog option then you can just apply dyes to it same as you do for gear currently. The interface might need to be updated to handle transmog skins rather than actual gear inside your inventory but the concept should be the same. -

alexander MergedI saw today on the game Fragpunk that you could change the material and small model stuff on their skins for the weapons which would be such a cool thing for your game to have. For example if you mine or dig a tunnel you could stumble upon diffrent very rare ores or stones that you later could bring back to you base and add to your weapons or armor. think you will get the idea once you see the skins in that game. perfect fit for this game

SOLIDShiftThere are so many weapons that I liek the look of better that the "BEST" most Legendary version of it and every time I play the game I lament there not being a layered/glamour/trasmog/ system for weapons especially since we have an armour glamour system.

Elorena MergedSince we can customize our clothing in the menu, it might be a good idea to do the same with weapons.
Sometimes you find weapons with great stats, but the skin is just not quite right. I would love to be able to simply overlay the appearance of another weapon... -

Nic Mercy MergedIt's wonderful that we can customize our armor appearance, but we dont have the same freedom with weapons, and there's some really amazing weapon models that we dont get to use because they don't scale to max level or just havent dropped.

MeldokDear Development Team,
First, thank you for your incredible work and the amazing armor transmogrification system.
My suggestion is to expand this fantastic feature to include weapons. Your artists have created so many stunning swords, staves, and other arms. It's a shame we have to retire these beautiful models for statistical upgrades, storing our favorites in the bank.
Adding weapon transmog would allow us to keep using the appearances we love forever. I already have several beloved swords and staves I'd be thrilled to visibly carry again.
Thank you for your time and consideration. Please keep up the phenomenal work! -

Amidaus MergedEither add weapon transmog, or make all weapons have legendary / gold rarity capabilities. Very self explanitory. Adding weapon transmog would allow players to use weapons that are both aesthetically pleasing and good. It doesn't feel good to get loot that feels good but looks terrible. Greatswords are particularly bad with this (no offense to the weapon design team meant, they just aren't my cup of ginger tea).
Either add transmog or make all weapons have legendary variants so that I can use something like the Silvernight Greatsword but not be nerfed by stats. -
28 Nov, '25
VolkspanzerThere's nothing I could add here that hasn't been well-said and exhaustively by others already -- make weapon and shield transmogs a feature. If you're feeling ambitious, allow every weapon and shield that is discovered and/or looted to be accessible via crafting, to boot.

ONI-JungeI think it would be good if you could simply upgrade all weapons to the highest level.
And to prevent you from getting weapons that are too powerful too soon, you could make the current maximum weapon level dependent on the level of the Flame Altar. -

someguyJust use the same mechanism as for armor.
Also for rings and shields. Some rings like Thundersnow have a horrible light effect i would prefer to do without.
