Skylights and attic doors
So I introduced Enshrouded to my girlfriend recently, and the phrase of the day became 'how do you feel about skylights?' because she kept accidentally creating holes in our roof while getting to grips with the building mechanics. But jokes aside - skylights. It would add so much to the lighting ambiance you can achieve indoors, even to just be able to lay one of the window models flat instead of vertical only. Also a little, square trap door for the attic. Perhaps with an animation when you reach the top of the ladder?

I place a grapple point at the "skylight" hole in the roof, so that I can treat it like an entrance/exit. Meanwhile I can wall off the rest of the base so NPCs can't wander out, and I can use the skylight entrance easily via the grapple to get out.
True, it isn't a "real" skylight door rather than just a hole in the roof that happens to have an attached grapple point. I had to build an extra roof over the hole so that rain doesn't fall inside. -

RavenWhen placing a window or door. R or Q + Right Mouse button can adjust X,Y,Z planes (R) or vertical/horizontal (Q). Have made windows from fences and skylights with windows and gratings. There are open servers where people showcase these. Very cool. Stained glass window(s) and door(s) in other colors than green would be nice for windows and doors. and there are "hidden" sliding doors for floor and walls. I used a wooden one and grapple attachment for attic.
