Status effects for damage types + hybrid effects

Would be cool to have a chance or some mechanic to apply status affects for each damage type, with a visual. eg. Ice - Frozen for 3s, Shock - Stunned + spreads small stun bar increase as aoe.

And / or hybrid status effects that synergise, eg. applying ice then blunt gives +50% bonus dmg for next hit, with a shatter effect animated.
Having unique mechanics for each element combo (ice > poison > ?) would be a great addition to gameplay + teamwork.

The more combo options give builds more character and flexibility.

On a similar note perhaps healing spells could damage hollow / undead types, and shroud damage could even heal shroud types.
