  I think this would be nice. Especially placing food and potions, to dekorate dining tables. It would also be nice, to have invisible blocks for placing items. Or some kind of an extra buildmode for items, to place them free in the world.

  Yes! Would love to have a tabletop display for one ring and another for multiple rings, maybe even a wall display variant! A way to display item scrolls would be a great way to decorate a desk or library too.

  bought the game a few weeks ago and was on my radar on very interested with my friend streaming through discord
  i mainly play on console but its rare for me to purchase a newer game on pc and minecraft was the last one i bought when it was in alpha
  
  on a friends server ive created houses and shops themed round the items like armor/clothes, weapons, magic and when i did the jewlellers other than the big crystals theres nothing else to display so having a ring and gem display would feel very welcomed and maybe bigger counter tops as well
  
  and one more idea have a wood stack,pile for logs and planks please
  
  im loving the game and the building aspect is brill and the i wish they had this is flowing haha

  Yes!! This would be awesome to be able to display all the wizard like rings and rings in general. Plus displaying potions too, easily done with cabinets or bookshelves. It would add to the wizard/mage skill set anyways so why not add it?
