Private / personal / lockable Chest
It would be interesting to be able to lock a chest, creating a "private" location for personal items. This could work like this: when the player places a chest, a dialog box opens: "Do you want to place a private or public chest?" Depending on the answer, the chest can only be opened by the player who placed it. This type of chest could only be destroyed by the player who created it.

It would need an option to disable it for open servers or you will have very fast a lot of locked chests from one-time server user. -

SneakySteve64Something similar to the piggy banks and vaults that terraria uses (having the items transfer between worlds for that specific character) would be amazing, especially if you like to build and need multiple worlds to continue building and need to transfer materials between them. It would also be nice for playing with multiple people as I usually keep certain items on me like runes (and recently the essence types + legendary runes) and other armor sets and eternal spells when I log out so it would save me a lot of time grabbing all those items when I need to leave.

Zach MergedOur server hosts a large friend group with varying play schedules and styles. While we collaborate on shared projects, we keep individual resource management for our personal builds.
Currently, magic chests share inventory across all players, which creates logistical overhead when coordinating between heavy crafters and those with less playtime. The volume of players makes manual resource tracking impractical.
Request: Add an optional setting to lock magic chests to specific Steam IDs, allowing players to maintain personal storage while still participating in communal gameplay areas.
This would let groups scale their cooperation model based on size and play patterns rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all approach. -

Beni MergedI think it would be very useful to add an option that allows players to bind chests – especially magical chests – to specific players.
This would mean that only the assigned players can open these chests.
The reason:
When playing together with friends, everyone could keep their own resources separated and protected.
At the same time, each player would only consume their own materials when crafting or using workstations.
This would make co-op sessions much more organized and prevent players from accidentally using or taking each other’s resources. -

William MergedI think it could be a great idea for the game to have a implemented way to own a certain plot of land either using the flame or another way that would maybe claim just a small portion of land so each and every players in a world can build their own house without risking theft or grief.
For instance, a player could place a mini altar that gives a 20x20x20 zone that would his property. This zone would only allow him to edit terrain and use chests. Of course, those players would need to have permission such as the flame altar interaction so each and every server could adjust how they like it.
I think this would allow bigger communities in servers and people would want to join shared worlds to cooperate for quests, farming and even building a little town to do some roleplay. Thus giving the game a little boost to its medieval roleplay assets. -
