some way/possibility to cast spells by hand
I am a big RPG fan and I really miss the possibility of casting spells without using a tool, but by hand. Even just a talent branch would be nice for those who would like to use it.

WoimioWI wrote sugestion for mage character, but it looks like it dissapeared. I wrote magic system (not fully because there is only 1000 word limit) where I sugest cast magic without wand, or staff.

PaulJWhat's wrong with the designers' choice to tie casting to a focus? I do feel it's more of a practical choice if anything - makes using hotkeys easier since they don't need to dedicate one to casting but simply "use" the focus item in the hotbar slot (i.e. staff or wand). They might be open to changing this, but do be aware why they picked the current system in the first place. It works because it fits how other things are used - you "use" a staff to cast spell "ammo", they're simply recycling the existing mechanics in place. Casting without a focus will definitely require a new system and changes to the interface.
I'm not saying I'm against this lol but obviously this isn't as simple as just adding another hotkey. Heck, I don't see anything wrong with their existing system except it's cumbersome to scroll through multiple different spells, and each spell uses up a separate inventory slot. Nothing wrong with wanting to improve on this but it's not going to be a trivial change.
