Craftsmen NPC should prioritize roaming around their stations
Craftsmen (and assistants) have a roaming range, which enables them to walk around and find their beds which is good.
However, they do not at all seem to be able to find their stations (the smithy can't find his forge, the carpenter can't find the table saw and the alchemist can't find the laboratory, for example).
Just like they go to sleep at night, they should go to their stations during large parts of the day.
(Yes, the workaround for this is to not allow them to walk at all, but that is boring.)

Seconded.
I was about to submit this as a new suggestion, so here's my pitch:
It would be great if NPC crafters could check in on their workstations when the station is processing, even if they're not there the whole time.
The Farmer tending seedlings and stirring the cooking pot, Blacksmith stoking the forge and pouring an ingot, before wandering off again.
This would add a little more life to villages, rather than everyone just wandering around waiting for a chance to wave at the Flameborn. -

LifMaybe you could assign them a workshop like you do a bed, and they start ther roaming fron there? Then you could safely use the workshops as decoration elswhere without an NPC showing up.

LurochI agree. The NPCs would be easier to find if they spend a portion of their days close to their crafting station. The crafters already seem to have preferred sleeping times. Maybe they could have preferred working times at their crafting station (assigned like a bed like suggested above or just any of that type that are within roaming range). Then a third smaller part of their day could be free-roam or relax at home time. During this time, maybe they would interact with chairs and benches that they find as they roam.
Similar to the different NPCs having slightly different sleeping schedules, they could have slightly different preferred working schedules too.
