Be able to Craft the Cosmetic only outfits once they are found

  As I commented elsewhere, I feel like cosmetics should not be items, but simply unlocks (like recipes). That way, as soon as a player has picked up something into their inventory, it is unlocked as a cosmetic option. You no longer need to keep chests full of useless crap solely for cosmetic purposes.
  
  This way is simpler as it doesn't even need to have a recipe. You find it, pick it up, done. The cosmetic slots need to be changed so that they're no longer inventory slots, but a list of unlocked gear.

  Is the maid outfit “lost technology”? Nobody knows how to craft it.
  I want to craft them, dye them in every color, and display them.
