Change respawn point when falling through the mesh/world or clipping through walls
at least 4 times today i've been pushed through the mesh when double jumping or flying. this is frustrating enough, but then to be respawned at the Cinder vault (a place i have absolutely no reason to ever be back at) is off the charts. the game literally has respawn points, so why would it send you back to the cinder vault? I suggest you change the respawn points, if your unfortunate enough to get pushed out of the mesh, to spawn you at your last respawn save point.

PaulJAgreed. It's even more annoying to know that those temporary spawn shrines exist, why aren't those used? Treat being offmapped like death, just respawn us from the nearest shrine/last flame altar used. Respawning at the Cinder Vault should only ever be for new players who literally have not placed any flame altars yet.

Antonio MergedI suggest to the programmers of this game the function of choice of rebirth of the character , in case you get stuck in one of the many bugs that are in the game , as when you are thrown out of the game map , instead of making us be born again to the altar of ashes , Give us the choice of the rebirth point, I suggest to use the shrine of the flame that unlock during the game

AntonioI tried twice , yesterday to make note , the frustration of being teleported to the altar of ashes , when you are pushed out of map , suggesting instead to use the shrines of flames scattered in the map , twice my suggestion was rejected with the usual message, "Do not be a suggestion, please use F1

JonathanI've lost track of how many times I somehow "fell through the world." But would love for it to either place me at the most recent flame altar (at least), or maybe preferably at the most recent death respawn node.

Raildex MergedWhen you happen to glitch into the ground (Updraft does this when in caves fairly often), you are either stuck and can mine yourself out of the misery, or you are unlucky and get teleported to the beginning of the game into the cinder vault.
This is an extremely unfortunate event since we already have spawn points when killed.
In the case of such an event, the player should be teleported to the last activated spawn point. -

Aaron MergedWhen I clip into a wall on accident, can you please just respawn me at the last checkpoint location. It is very frustrating being 1 to 2 hours deep into a dungeon or into a zone just trying to make it to the end or a tower and I clip into the wall on accident and get sent as far away as possible meaning I have to walk all the way back wasting a half hour or more just trying to get back.

L! MergedCurrently, clipping through the wall causes you to teleport all the way back to the Cinder Vault. This is extremely disruptive and feels like being punished for encountering one of the (frequent) bugs that cause you to clip through the wall.
Why not just teleport you automatically back to the last beacon you activated? -

Bael MergedJust came back to play since 'Wake of Water' since the very start of the game, and discovered that gliders and updraft are a hot mess of garbage right now. It CONSTANTLY forces players up into the friggin wall mesh and you get stuck and the game teleports you all the way back to the start of the friggin game.
Give me a 'respawn' button. Teleport me to the ACTUAL last check point I touched. GIve me anything except teleporting me to the friggin start.
It's the most annoying garbage when exploring when you don't have spires unlocked, you don't place a flame altar every terrain tile away, and you're deep in something for the stupid game to bug you out and send you all the way back to the start that's absolutely no where near where you were.
It's better that someone gets to cheese the game, and trick it into teleporting to somethign they don't have, than to just say screw all the people trying to play and get sent back to the start for no damn reason. -

CarlSince the Wake of the Water update, the clipping issues have gotten much worse. I’ve never had this much trouble getting stuck in objects or being teleported before.
The Summit Tower flying section is the worst. The walls there don’t seem to have proper collision. I keep getting pushed into them instead of bouncing off, and then I get stuck and can’t reach the top. It makes that section way more frustrating than it needs to be.
This has been happening every day in every session. It’s not a big deal when I can dig my way out, but getting teleported inside towers or buildings messes up the flow. I don’t really care where it teleports me. Just fix the collision. -

VattulaittiUnstuck would be great feature that would work also in shroud incase you literally get stuck. It could respawn you with your buffs and such back to x time. Please.
