Server Setting to Block External Items / server based inventory
When creating a server, there should be an option to disallow any items transferred from other servers.
This would be especially important for RP servers, where outside items (like currency or rare loot from warehouse servers) could disrupt the economy and give players an unfair advantage.
It would also make player-built projects more meaningful: farming and gathering every material on the same server feels more authentic and rewarding than just importing resources.
→ Once portals are added, servers could optionally be linked to specific whitelisted servers via portals. These linked servers would also need to have the same setting enabled in order to be whitelisted. (Thinking of the Kontreck LotR projects with dedicated storage server for the builders)
To make this feature more appealing, there could even be a special prestige icon for servers that keep this setting enabled (which would disappear if the setting is ever changed).

Please add an option or system so that when players join a dedicated server, their local inventory and client-side modifications are ignored or overridden.
Right now, it's possible for players to bring in items or effects from their local modded client, which breaks server integrity and makes dedicated servers nearly useless for serious gameplay.
What I propose:
A server setting like forceServerInventory = true that resets player inventory to server state on join.
Validation checks on item stacks, amounts, and mods to prevent injection of impossible values.
Compatibility with anti-cheat / mod-detection so that clients running unauthorized mods cannot impact the server.
Logging / alerting when a client tries to inject abnormal values.
This feature would restore trust in dedicated servers and stop players from abusing local mods.

Moo Koo MergedIt shouldn't be possible to bring items from a locally hosted game with easy mode settings to a server with other players who have to work hard for their stuff.
