Giant Hypnotic Fell Phase Spider

Swear I'm not on drugs.
But how about a version of the giant spider that can phase (teleport), and grab you and siphon your life. OR (or additionally) it can mesmerize you and either stun you or turn you into a pawn to fight your friends?
