Craftable and placeable crystals and crystal clusters

I'd love to be able to make a crystal cavern with a waterfall and pool. So if you could pretty please make placeable crystals and crystal clusters that'd be awesome.

PS - If you could make the crystals we mine in the game placeable like other terrain that'd be fantastic too. I could work with that.

Make this a terrain material and/or a block variant. Nothing to craft with it, just the material(s) itself to use and mix in building with.
I have been using ice for now, but I think actual crystal would be awesome!
Though something to think about is do we get different colors, or just one? Or base it on the color of lighting around it..???
