Would love a way to connect bases so they can share resources

I think it would be great to have some way to magically connect our bases so that the resources stored in one could be used in the other like the caravans in Fallout 4.
Currently there's no incentive to have more than one base since you just end up having to either split your resources between them or lug whatever you need in one place over to the other every time

I think a high-level magic item could do this: A "magic teleporter linkage" or something; all crafting items in magic chests in bases with a teleporter linkage share their crafting inventories.
