Ring of Burning Light should improve visibility, not blind the player
The Ring of Burning Light should have an effect that improves visibility in darkness and foggy areas.
Right now, it can have the opposite effect in the Shroud. Instead of helping the player see, the glow can become overwhelming and completely blind the player in the fog.
A ring with “burning light” should feel useful for dark exploration, not like a visual penalty.
A better version could be:
improved visibility in dark areas
reduced fog glare while in the Shroud
a softer light radius around the player
less bloom directly on the character model
clearer enemy and terrain visibility
The item fantasy is great, but the visual effect needs to help visibility instead of making the Shroud harder to navigate.

Not sure how it's coded, but you can make the fog effect vignette in the viewport around the player by just a few meters.... I kinda of wish this was a thing by default, not even including any lights.
