  Please let us craft from nearby or adjacent containers from the start of the game.
  
  Gating QoL features behind progression is not very player-friendly. Having things like auto-repair at the workbench as a huge QoL feature but gating this behind progression is hard to understand for me.
  It unnecessarily annoys new players that may still be deciding on the game as it has become a staple feature of many games of this type already and I feel it would be a sensible change during early access.

  I think he is talking about the magic boxes working in int crafting stations as well.

  The Craftsmen, like Carpenter, Farmer etc, should have access to the boxes which are placed within the same building, or a specific range. This would make (my) crafting life much easier, since right now i am wasting a lot of time managing my content of the inventory.

  Using material from storage **at the workbench and crafting npcs** is possible using magic chests (must progress to having the carpenter). However it is not possible to build (using the Building Hammer) from magic chests and it's not possible to start a crafting job at the workshops (Kiln, Forge, Fireplace, etc.)

  Though we do have chests that can pool together resources in a base, since we can't make new suggestions, wondering if it is still feasible/possible to have chests or an progression unlock that grants the ability to pool from ALL alter bases (at least items in a shroud chest).
  Kinda annoying to have to jump around to each base in case you dropped off resources at one but not the other. If the idea is to make it more "survival" then it would make sense if you couldn't teleport, but considering you can just teleport, it just means it's a hassle to pool/gather resources between all of the bases.
  
  Having this global resource pool would simplify building efforts and inventory use/management to a degree (still have issues/complaints on how you can track/sort items across all of the chests)
