  Indeed, It's still very difficult to see things at certain points at night. Something tells me it's because they're using the sun and moon model as sources of light, which makes sense, but when those sources of light go past the horizon during twilight, we get moments of crazy darkness that can can really interfere with those periods.
  I appreciate their efforts to help us speed night along, but it sucks when I'm in the middle of gliding, accidentally exit the playable area, and then twilight comes and makes me run into a mountain before the timer runs out.

  We all know that light source has a very essential impact in video games, not only does it help us comprehend the game better, but it also offers us dramatic emotions and beautiful scenery. I feel that by providing better light source during night time will allow gamers to enjoy exploring Embervale at night, providing us with delightful scenery and exploration. Climbing ladders and obstacles removes the torch's light source, which I believe is a problem that has to be addressed and the moon's light source mechanic does not aid as much. The transition between the day and night cycles should also be improved. Some light sources, such as the Wisp of Light, are overexposed, resulting in just bright areas around your character.

  I am looking for something like this as well. I was thinking of a craft made miner's helmet or something. No stats but has a candle on it to light up the front of me while traveling and especially mining.

  I agree, the lighting at dusk/dawn is absurd and needs to change. Torches don't throw light far enough ahead to compensate for this ridiculous lighting.

  This ticket was closed after update 4's lighting changes, but it is still way too dark. When you're watching a stream of Enshrouded on twitch, it is doubly worse for viewers who have no idea of what's going on. The initial ticket said:
  
  The pitch black darkness and how quickly night comes at sunset has got to go. At the moment it completely halts whatever you're doing and forces you back to base for sleeping, completely breaking the momentum of play no matter what. Torchlight and potions don't make up for this.

  I have a suggestion for a new ring. I call it 'Ring of Night Vision' as a placeholders name. When you wear this ring you will see you're surroundings up to 100 meters. However you will see it as some sort of negative or in gray tones, or something. An extra effect that would be nice is that the ring provides disguise in the darkness, so you're enemies won't see you in the dark, until it's to late.

  Game is so dark when it's night that I have to just sit and wait till morning. Torch does not give off enough light.
