Allow crafting high tier food recipes using either raw or cooked versions

  I'm conflicted. I really like this idea, but also agree with @GoboZen too. If it makes the crafting system too complex I can see this being a pain.

  I like the idea, however I think adding alternative base materials would require many changes to the crafting system and UI that's a lot of effort and the benefit is marginal in this case.

  Since there is no barter or economy in the game (and doesn't really need a reason to create it), it would be nice if there were more recipes for things that utilized older, lower level items to craft better higher level stuff. Like more food recipes that require multiple ingredients might have longer duration buffs.
