Hollow Halls Instanced (Save Progress)
Takes too long to finish the Hollow Halls when its single player or 2 people. Would be great if it was instanced and scales. While instanced your progress is saved until you revisit.
I spent 4 hours with my gf and it was just too long. I don't look forward to doing these now. Granted we are not the best players, but an option to have it as an instance where you can stop midway and then come back another day and continue would be great.
Of course might be an idea to allow it to be reset as well. Or have completed ones reset like normal.
TL;DR;
1. Make Hollow Halls Instanced
2. Save progress so you can revisit it another time to complete
3. Have it scale to number of participants (if it isnt already)
4. Allow resetting the instance, or have it reset like normal after the usual amount of time.

The lest time I played Nomad Highland Hollow Halls was an ordeal of two and half HOURS and still I couldn't finish it!!!
I have to leave the game, and LOST ALL PROGRESS. If our character die inside the Hollow Halls it spawn in the next Hollow flame shrine in order to allow us continue the labyrinthic dungeon.
So, why not allow us to do the same thing when we need to leave the game???
Please, add a "return to the last point" in the Hollow Halls! It makes NO sense to demand casual players spend hours in a feature so complex and punishing. -

EddieSwiss MergedI'd just like teleports/checkpoints that save your progress in the Hollow Halls so you can return back to that spot without having to run through the whole thing again due to a disconnect, etc.

Anise MergedAfter running one for the first time that took over 1.5 hours. Ran out of every supply, I couldn't leave. When I did I had to start completely over. I'm a solo player so that really sucked. Maybe at least a halfway mark or something. Be able to go back to your camp and get more supplies. I couldn't kill the boss because i didn't have anymore arrows nor health, or anything else, and had to give up and start completely over. A bit much.

Andy MergedSince the Hollow Halls (at least the first three so far, and I assume the Albaneve one will eventually be filled out in an update) are rather long, could they be set up as extended timing instances? I often do not have enough time to clear the entire Hall in one sitting, but if I leave and come back later, I have to start all over again. One day I was about 3/4 through the Nomad Highlands Hollow Halls and my electricity went out for a moment, causing my computer to reboot - BAM, I had to start all over.
Possible ways to implement this:
1) Put the Hollow Halls on a fixed reset timer, i.e. once started they will not reset/respawn for 5 real world days, no matter how many times you log in or out of the game, or the game crashes, or you lose internet, etc. (Everquest 1 and 2 instances worked this way, so it's an old technology.)
2) The entire Hollow Hall will not reset/respawn until a player reaches the final teleporter and uses it to go back to the start/exit the dungeon. -

Germán MergedIt's very annoying to enter the "Forest of Delight Hollow Room" (I don't know how to say it in English since I'm Argentinian), and if I want to explore the whole area again, I have to kill the enemies all over again, just to search for the artifacts.
Also, once I'm inside that room, I can't interrupt the game, because if I do, I have to redo all the progress. There's no save progress option in those areas of the game, which are very large. I hope this makes sense, and I really hope you do something about it because it's very frustrating to have to start over again and again. -

Asherah Nexen MergedI am having a question. I crashed twice in a dungeon. I looged on twice at home. Had to run back and start all dungeon again. Isn't there a possibilitiy to create a login at last safety point? So I could come back easier. Also I lost some Items I won already (head of a boss a building stone). Could be better if I could chose at the login "at home" or last "Save point"

Dom MergedWhen your game crashes when you're in the hollows, you shouldn't be punished by sending you back outside the hollows. It should respawn you at the latest revival in there. I just crashed right at end of kindle wastes hollows with the 2 cyclops and you guessed it, I have to REDO THE ENTIRE THING and I can't be bothered. I had a revive bug in there that caused me to restart my game and lose ALL MY PROGRESS, then I managed to get myself to redo it for it to CRASH AT THE END. Don't punish players by making them redo it and lose interest in wanting to do it, it's so tedious. Make them spawn at latest revival, honestly, players may like that better.

AvalonInk MergedThe Hollow Halls dungeons are engaging dungeon experiences, even soloing. But they are so long and time intensive! I would love to see a save and return function at the checkpoints, so if I only have a little time or if I get interrupted and have to go back to the real world I don't lose my progress.

EskaAfter more than 2 hours spent on the second Hallowed Halls (I was level 18 and well geared), I had to give up as I had to go to eat. As a result, I'll have to do it all over again, it stopped being fun an hour before I gave up.
Yes, we should have some scalling and a save option. -

PaulJAs a bow main and someone who usually feels the compulsion to completely clear an area properly, it took me like 3 hours to clear one Hollow Hall lol :(
As the others have pointed out, not being able to save partial progress is one of the, if not THE, main complaints. Heck, I wouldn't even mind if the enemies all respawned but at least I get to unlock progress teleport points after each section. It's already bad enough I have to find all dozen hidden runes or whatever to unlock an area's exit, rather than simply half the number of runes so I can find whichever ones are most convenient rather than have to pixel hunt the entire area, growing more and more annoyed all the while. This just forces me to resort to using a guide, because I know I'll never return to this frustrating area again, making it a low value one-shot experience.
Games are not served well by being filled with low value one-shot experiences. -

JohnyTheCarrotTBH the fact I have no way to save so if I need to leave I need to redo it all is just prohibitively annoying.
Ran out of healing items AND had to leave so I had to shut down the game and when I came back I had to redo it all.
Ain't no way I'm touching a hollow hall again until this is addressed because man that just makes the whole thing not worth it, whatever the reward may be. -

ElorenaYES! Please!
I need some sort of savepoint for single player. I don't have the time to finish the halls (and I know there's lots of parents out there, who feel the same).
It's no fun at all to go into the halls anymore, almost exhausting.
