Beastmaster talent overhaul / Class revision
Overhaul beastmaster tree, dedicated 'pet tamer'/'pet class', with a separate talent tree for tamed animals. Wolf, spider, boar, lions/tigers all tameable with different specializations and abilities. The talent trees for pets can be small.. Maybe boar can tank/aggro? right now it's too situational and just doesn't feel like a beast master

Guarding almost never works for a variety of reasons (theyre too slow to keep up and eventually stop, they dont attack and just watch you get beat up, et.) and when it does work its basically useless, they always die immediately and its almost like I never even had a guard animal. Beast master is probably my favorite skill in any game but this one is just an insult -

Dd MergedThis branch of the skill tree seems half hearted or incomplete. Considering the mechanics of picking up tamed creatures (ie cats, dogs, goats, etc) I would much rather a system closer to WOW.
Improvements: You have the ability to tame and collect all creatures (except shroud affected? that could be even higher on the tree) and then deploy them for following / battling. Could even be a step further where each creature has its own special skill:
-Dog: sniffs out hidden chests
-Vukah: mage heals you durning battle
-Spider: poison or slow enemies
-etc
Obviously you should only have 1 creature deployed at a time, they can take damage and be knocked down to be revived.
As it stands I would at the very least like an improvement to the existing system, it’s very frustrating to have a creature helping in battle only to accidentally hit them and have them turn against our own team of players. -

Alex MergedThe Beastmaster is a support-melee hybrid that uses polearms and tames wild creatures to aid in combat. Tamed animals like wolves or birds fight alongside the player, acting as companions that can draw aggro, deal damage, or apply debuffs. Polearms offer mid-range melee options with wide sweeps and thrusts, keeping enemies at bay while the beast helps control the fight. The beast system should be simple—unlock companions through progression or world interaction, then summon them using a cooldown or whistle command. The Beastmaster can invest in skills that improve companion health, damage, or add support auras. Some skills could let the player command their beast to charge, distract, or pin enemies. It’s not a pet summoner in the magical sense, but a physical bond between hunter and creature. This class would feel wild, tactical, and offer a unique support role that brings more life to the battlefield.
