Could we please please have more than just 10 Flame Altars? The map is huge and 10 is very very limiting when you and your friends all would like a base, etc. Conan Exiles lets you build infinite bases for example, same with minecraft. I know there may be some technical differences, but minecraft can also be full HD, custom every game asset you can think of and it still has infinite bases and building. Just putting these here to help describe the vision. Ty! -

Yscura MergedI enjoy these kind of quest which makes you think rather than just place a marker on the map. **Spoiler** A good example is the quest where there is a hidden chest buried on the farm. And another hidden in an attic in the capital. **End of spoiler** Personally I love these type of quests and would like to see more of them. It also rewards the players that takes the time to read the lore pages.

BluSleeper MergedThank you for adding this function, I love the idea of it. However, in actual practice the deformation lacks depth and variety and the scroll wheel should be used to randomize the deformation to varying and increasing degree to the brink of total destruction of an object. Also, the movements should be easily undone or reversed. I tried it on floor edges, and it did not produce enough randomization and there needs to be more randomly generated patterns. Deformation lacks severity especially on floors. The decay and discoloration (fading as exposed to sun and weather) should be apparent. It is a perfect 10 necessity tool but at current implementation I rate it as a 5. Hope it gets much better.

djhracer7I am enjoying the update, the New NPC is fun and some new items are great. I do have one criticism though. The starting furniture has been updated/changed. The new starting wooden door that we make somehow has more metal to it than the first door the carpenter makes. Change it back. I like the old one more cause of the holes it had in it and was clearly poorly crafted. Bring back the old crude furniture. But add the newer crude furniture as a separate set of furniture that costs more wood/metal scraps. When it comes to building its important to Add new stuff, not change existing stuff. We're still missing the scrap metal windows found in some of the stone structures in the Springlands shroud area. Or the various 5 block tall wooden seen in taverns.

DeviusSo what would have been nice if we had the market stands with the fabric roofs and all the tent versions that are available.

LaGomI'm playing as a wizard and since uptade 5 there is a really frustrating problem. When i mine some resources by pickaxe i cannot change to my selected range weapon (staff). I mean by pressing the ranged weapon binded button of course. the same thing happens with the building hammer, but its not reay common to use a staff at the base. It's propably because of the 1st person mode.

Matas MergedGetting rid of the topographic map, using a graphical map instead.
Adding a minimap or reworking the compass to work on all nearby POIs
Enchantments
Adding MAC support
The new upcoming weather rework - I would love for it to bring new materials with it, for example if a lightning strikes a rock you can mine it for charged stone or something.
Being able to change the frequency of how often music plays. IMO the game has too long pauses of no music, which makes me switch on spotify for some ambience, then the game starts playing something again.
Holstering weapons behind my back, adding tower shields, greatswords, dual swords, dual axes
unlocking NPCs recipes makes me able to craft them on my workbench, but more expensive than doing it directly at them. -

Synn MergedHi
Currently we are able to increase the rate of mining to max2.
Since we dont have creative mode for now. Can we get the limit increase to higher value.
Make it max10 for example, this will be very helpful for all of us who build a lot and need to farm raw mats, currently the time to farm is slowing the build progress a lot, if a person has made the server already custom with modifiers i dont see a reason why the modifiers are at such low limit. -

GidroomPlease make it so that the dialogue in the chat window does not disappear so quickly and that when pressing the Enter key the chat window shows recent messages. And so that we can scroll these messages to read the message history. It can be inconvenient to constantly go to a separate window using the O key. Take an example from the device of the dialogue chat in any mmorpg.

SeferonaThe first veil has been reworked very cool pleases, there are other places but the legs haven't reached there yet.. didn't recognize my usual salt mine when I came again for salt, there are even new notes, joy.
The first-person camera during construction is a step forward, but there are still difficulties with installing high objects, since their tops are not always visible, you set it by eye. Special thanks for the manipulations with height and 3D space for small objects, now you can twist it as you want, all the haystacks have been scattered artistically.
I would like to have the ability to put not only food ingredients on the stands but also alchemical ones. So you can fill the alchemical lab with all sorts of things, even if you put them one by one, you will get a lot of variety without introducing new items.
The new NPC is very original and useful, I hope in the future she will have a lot more to please us.. more flowers, would also like to have the curtains of my dreams. -

GadburnI think the pathing still needs some work for both animals and NPCs, and could you reduce the frequency of how often animals eat?

DragonsDuskI loved the new temple puzzles. I liked there were spots I could step out of the shroud to think (I know that's in other ones) but I found the new puzzles for some of the mechanisms really fun.

John JonesFix water aura, it stops working from time to time and you have to go remove the talent points and add them again for it to work for a while.

Claudia SI really love the game and its' dynamics, NPCs, the crafting and building system and the general environment and the different biomes with their specialities. I've always enjoyed exploring the world and its' secrets. Unfortunately, since the new update all fast travelling points are deleted from the map. Even though I had activated the Ancient Spires in the areas of Springlands, Revelwood, Nomad Highlands and Kindlewastes they are non-active right now as well as non-visible on the map. Also all personally placed flame altars are deleted from the map too. The settings still proclaim that I have reached my limit of active altars, thus I cannot build a new one. Neither can I deactivate them, because I don't know where they are. It kind of feels like being soft locked. These issues appeared after the "Pact of the flame" update. If somehow possible, please fix this debug of fast travelling / map display.
Thank you very much and a successful 2025! :) -

spacefiddleSteel was a dirty trick lol.... in some games you need ore to make alloys, in other games you need ingots.... Bronze is made with INGOTS, so I thought it was safe to make most of my iron into ingots. It was not safe lol. Now I gotta go mine more iron for the ore to make steel.... whereas with Bronze it was okay to make most of my Copper into ingots, because I knew they were also used to make the better metal as well as copper items.
TL;DR Bronze "trained" me to expect ingots make alloys but then Steel reverses it. It would be better if it was consistent so we know what to expect / how to prepare / don't get surprised by random differences. -

spacefiddleFrost Smasher is awesome, my new favorite two-hander. Unfortunately 2H still lags significantly behind 1H in damage output over time, my tank spec with 1H and shield does far more damage faster because the 2Hers are still SO slow and have SUCH long animation lockouts....
So if that's not gonna change may we please have a 1H hammer as cool as Frost Smasher? :D
If there isn't one already of course, I'm sure there's still lots i haven't found

spacefiddleI just realized the new, top-tier tank set takes 25, yes TWENTY-FIVE, "warm padding." Meanwhile the Hunter sets require around 15 each.
Very uncool. Warm Padding is of course the top-tier material barrier for making these sets; everything else can be gotten at will, and I have tons of it all while waiting for my Yak Herd to cough up more raw wool so i can make it wool while making yet more fabric so i can get the Warm Padding...
If some sets are 1-3 more or less than others, fine, whatever. But TEN more is a harsh kick in the nards, especially when folks are playing together and I feel bad about needing to hog so many more mats than my partner's set :P
TL;DR material costs should be balanced and not punish any one spec/class over another -

spacefiddleOK, Obsidian Block crafting requirements are completely insane lol. I didn't think it was too bad until i tried to build just a small test building to see what they look like and OMG. Considering how s l o w l y you mine Obsidian and especially Silver, 20 each for 100 blocks is waaaaay too high.
Even with the "Mason" 30% mining skill and a steel pickaxe, it takes what feels like three hundred whacks to get one unit of either of these resources. At those rates, 20 each of Obsidian and Silver Ingots per 100 blocks just saps the fun out of it, i have been doing nothing but mine obsidian and silver for two days and i still don't have nearly enough lol.
Either the Obsidian Block recipe should have less prohibitive cost, or Obsidian and Silver should not have so much "health" / require so many pick swings per unit.
Thanks! -

spacefiddleAnimals consume food WAAY too fast D:
I don't think you considered dedicated servers when setting their rates of food consumption.... it feels like i have to make sure to log on every 4 hours to top everyone off lmao, and we don't even have that many animals of each type (the most is 4). At this rate, if we aren't going to play for a couple of days because RL, I have to shut the server down so all the animals don't run out of food o.O
Please consider the always-on worlds in dedicated servers when tuning features. Crafting the food isn't the issue - at this stage in the game, we have plenty of mats and farms to make the food - but i don't know what happens if they run out, will the starve and die and disappear? Or just stop producing their supplies?
Either way, having to refill the bowls every 4-6 RL hours is kinda nuts lol, this ain't ARK xD -

Lava2007(I'm not sure if this is where i'm supposed to post this) When you go from the Albaneve Spire you get the frost effect on your screen my fps drop to about half. I'll start around 40ish fps and when the frost effect hits it's down between 15-20 fps. It only happens when frost hits from what i've noticed.

superpebbleI would love to see that players can make their own quests and or missions. placing enemies in places. tweaking stats of enemies, patrol routes, maybe even dialogue options. why not give a little of the burden onto those willing to exercise their creativity? I would love to venture our and see that someone planted the huntress out in the woods whom had a special mission for me to hunt down a foe that she was no match for. I would love to see a group of enemies ready to attack my base. i would love to delve into a castle to rescue a captured npc completely undetected.

Daan MergedWhen talking to the blacksmith it makes more sense for the blueprints to be in an order of usage. You make coal first, then a forge. Not the other way around. I can give you a screenshot if needed.
P.S. unrelated to this. Why do I feel like I am a dwarf or a small beefed up child? weird man... The game is nice so far. :) Kind regards, Daan. -

CeeJaylx MergedWhile Enshrouded is designed for co-op play, solo play can feel lonely when no one else is online. A fantastic way to improve this would be to expand the role of villagers:
• Introduce more villagers with defined roles and jobs.
• Allow players to create and customize villagers, including their appearance, names, and backstory.
• Improve the AI of villagers to make them feel more dynamic and interactive.
• Consider adding purchasable or DLC villager packs (Nobles, Farmers, Mages, Knights, etc.).
• Introduce “Prisoner NPCs” that provide resources while imprisoned—capturable enemy types that serve a functional purpose in the game.
• Provide unique animations for crafting NPCs, such as alchemists mixing potions, carpenters cutting wood, and hunters sharpening weapons. -

James Barnes MergedFirstly, my wife and I love the game.
That said, we have a few suggestions to enhance the overall experience with the craftspeople/assistants/villagers that are rescued and sent to the first settlement that the player builds:
1. Make the crafting people stop following the player, especially during build mode. They get in the way and building can't continue until they get out of the way, which they seemingly refuse to do.
2. There should be actual tasks the people in your "settlements" to do, instead of just standing or walking around.
3. One more thing... since is is REQUIRED that they all have beds, they should sleep in them, consistently.
Thanks and keep up the awesome content! -

Robin MergedMy favorite part of the game is to build a whole village to host the npcs you recruit it would be nice if this aspect of the game got more complexity. Currently the NPCs require a bed and thats all. It would be cool if there could be other structures that would allow to satisfy their needs and foster new behaviors. This would make the village livelier and push the player to build new buildings and places. Some examples:
Tavern: a tavern structure at which the NPCs gather and have smalltalk around a drink (of course you need to brew it).
Fireplace: a specific fireplace where the npcs gather to eat or something like this.
bench staff: a specific staff like the summon one to assign certain benches to a npc so that they can sit down in their home or on park benches.
Game tables: some tables with games where npcs interact
Now with these i build a park, a tavern and a restaurant, combine these and I build a casino, you see what I mean. -

ShadofHi, me and my friends recently finished the game and we had a couple of thoughts.
First i wanted to try and play as dedicated healer but for the most part it feels like you can just grab all the blue nodes on the tree anyway and there is no need for specialization. Kinda similar for warriors, my friends started as one handed and two handed melee dmg dealers but by the end they had all the red nodes anyway. We felt that game could use some more tradeoffs in regard to passives, either have less points or add some more type specific nodes. Being able to branch off is ofc important but right now it just feels like you can get anything anyway so there is no real need to plan and make builds.
As for the gameplay, battle heal is just insane we felt like it invalidated 90% of enemy mechanics they could just stay in one place on pretty much every boss and whack them(yes we could just increase enemy dmg but then other classes were just getting oneshot by everything) -
13 Apr, '25
ShadofMaybe battle heal should have some internal cd or other limitation, cause jumping into 20 mobs and being able to heal to full after one swing seems a little insane.
Then there is healer playstyle, it just feels like grabbing the healer gear and letting water aura do the job. I think i only used chain heals on the last boss other than that i was just playing mage, maybe if it was possbile to make it harded to get all the nodes there could be some healer specific spells like other kind of heals and/or buffs, shields or some crowd control. -

Jim MergedWhat I feel is that the Building space be upgraded from Level 4 to Level 6, but 8 would be nice but 6 is good enough I think. Sizing up Map would be nice even though it's been done once. adding more things like a cooker with Pot in fire place Hanging from a Chain on a hook would be a nice new Look. Plain Polished white stone Floor Polished light Gray Floor. Longer Gliding time. Bar stool and a Bar counter. a wine rack. Tents to place. New Tree Maybe for example a Palm tree not sure if you have one I never seen one. Gorillas Monkeys and Alligators added to the Game might add nice wild animals to make it more interesting. Maybe someone wants to Build a Tree house. have some Wild Lizards Different then what you have. Bigger storage Extra Large. New Metal Pyrite. to make stronger Weapons and Armor. Stylish New Ferniture, a Water Boiler for hot Drinks listed under dishes. Books with Recipe ideas. Added option where they can take from the chest you Pick. Optio to other not DMG your City.

Arturia MergedDear Enshrouded Development Team,
As a player who loves cooking and eating mechanics in survival games, I sincerely hope that you could allow us to consume food items anytime, without the current restrictions of the 3+1 food buff slots. I understand the importance of balancing food buffs, so perhaps additional food consumed beyond the existing slots could simply not provide any buffs, but still be edible. It would greatly enhance immersion and roleplay for players who enjoy the survival aspect of the game.
Additionally, I would love to see deeper survival mechanics implemented in Enshrouded. For example, a visible hunger meter that depletes over time, similar to other survival games like 7 Days to Die. If possible, introducing a thirst system alongside it would further enrich the experience.
At present, I’m very satisfied with the building system and many other aspects of the game — thank you for your hard work and for crafting a world worth getting lost in.
Warm regards,
-

I don't have any MergedHot tip for inventory (and chest) logic:
Filling:
1. First not full stack from the top
2. First empty slot from the top
2.a) Bonus if the slot is after a stack of the same item.
Emptying:
1. Last not full stack. (last is the first from the bottom)
2. Last stack. -

AM MergedWe have farming and animal husbandry. Allow us to harvest resources from grown crops and animals and combine them with drops from enemies to craft better weapons and armour. Different animals and plants products will add different affixes to gear and make it a random process. Like crafting in Path of Exile. This is to incentivise interacting with these systems and repeating content. Example, fire down wool from sheep for fire resist/damage. We also have dungeons. Add more with different bosses!
