increase drop amount for revelwood shroud mushroom
Gude!
please increase the drop amount for revelwood shroud mushroom, or decrease the crafting amount required for the according receipes. I would prefer that you increase the drop amount to at least 5, as you need 5 for one goo or 15(!) for one alchemical base. So at the current drop amount of 2 shroud mushroom, I would need to cut down 8 mushrooms in order to create one alchemical base, that is way to tedious. Btw I like the changes you implented regarding new recources and new receipes, however the recources should be relatively easy to be farmed.
Thank you and keep up the great work!

Absolutely agree... it's ok for me to do some gathering and farming. But to harvest such an amount of shroud mushrooms for health potions they'd really pay me real money... it's worse than a bad job. -

PaulJAgreed, for how tall the mushroom "trees" are, they should drop more than just 1-2. It feels too different from other plant drops.

GennaroI have to correct my initial complaint, the drop amount is for the mushrooms is 3-6 per chopped down mushroom, depending on the size, however, the complaint stays the same. please increase the drop amount and/or decrease the amount needed for the corresponding crafting receipes. thank you dear devs and keep up the good work!

BrackishwaThis is killing the progression for me because I need these for the stun arrows for the boss fight and here I am running back and forth to revelwood. Makes losing the battle even worse when I Know I have to now go run back and make another revelwood run for arrow ingredients.

KRogersAgreed. Additionally, there are small brown mushroom clusters growing in Revelwood shroud. that can be harvested for 2 Shroud Liquid. It would make more sense that these drop 1-2 Shroud Mushroom instead. They look like mushrooms, why would they provide something else.

er1k MergedTruly any other shroud plant is way more abundant but these things are so rare! The fact that you need them for things like Alchemic Base makes it even more expensive than making Nitrate or Black Powder.
Then why is there a plant to hand-pick Mint or Pink Mushrooms but I have to chop down the big lonely mushroom trees in Revelwood just for a handful of Shroud Mushroom? Same for the Ice Mushrooms, why is there no hand-pick version? It doesn't feel very well thought out. -

Zach MergedThe grind for the specific item Shroud Mushroom seems very excessive. You need 5 or them to make 1 goo and you need 15 of them to make one Alchemical Base. The other resources need less and are easier to acquire. Perhaps making more of the mushrooms get picked up each time or making the recipes a little easier would be nice. I like grinding for resources, but this seems imbalanced for that one resource.

VerrathAgreed - farming Shroud Mushroom has got to be the most tedious in the game, not only do they only drop after chopping down the big mushrooms, they are not auto-picked up and tend to slide for quite some distance when in hilly terrain, and they are very hard to spot (unlike for example the ones in Veilwater Basin, which you can just "Harvest" from the smaller shrooms)
The fact that you need 15 of them for a single alchemical base seems wildly out of balance. I spent over an hour chopping and collecting, and it gave me 8 Alchemical bases only.
Alternatively, maybe the recipe could be changed to allow other Shroud resources, like Mint Mushroom Meat - the ones you will be spending more time with later in the game than Revelwood. -

Ifigene MergedGiven how much shroud mushrooms are used in various recipes (goo, alchemical base, etc) and how little it is found in Revelwood, making the shroud mushroom more accessible would be preferred (either make the large mushroom that drops shroud mushroom more or make looting the smaller ones gain shroud mushroom instead of shroud liquid, which is already readily accessible in Springland). Thx <3

BlueschtShroud mushrooms are used for making three important potions when playing in regions like kindlewastes or albaneve summits. But they have to be farmed in a low level region and on top of that there aren't to many good spots for faming them. Most places are steep and the mushrooms slide down the slope. There are only a few bigger mushrooms most of them are small. Brittle shroud flakes on the other hand are very easy to farm (big mushrooms and flat ground) but are mainly used for making huge magic chests and the only comsumable is the lightning channel. For the potions mentioned before you additionally need a decent amount of acidic mycelium which also needs to be farmed.
On the whole for me as a single player it's really annoying to to some hardcore grind farming just for having the potions that I need for what makes the game really interesting for me: exploring the world and farming materials for building. -

Gen X PriestFully agree with this. I need a lot of Alchemal Base, and I'm out there over and over just to make 20 of them. It's nuts.
