Cat and Dog Food Ingredients should be made from any kind of meat
Make the cat and dog food recipes able to use more than just specific meats. This makes feeding them harder, especially the cats. Cat food requires lean meat and wolf meat. The wolf meat becomes harder to get as you progress unless you want to spend hours in the Springlands and Revelwoods hunting wolves. Please make the pet food for cats and dogs (both carnivores) made from any meat.

I agree. There needs to be a cooking crafting station that "processes" the various different meats into a e.g. paste, which in turn can then be used to make the various animal foods. This way it doesn't matter what exactly your original meat source is.
If the designers REALLY want to keep the original meat recipes then just make the original meat recipes produce more quantity per recipe. This way players can choose whether they want to use up rare meat supplies but at least get more mileage out of them, or simply use a single easily farmed substitute but have to use more of it. -

Will MergedI notice that "Add New Farm Animals" is now checked on the roadmap as complete with the addition of the stork bird. I hope this is not the case. It is still very difficult to farm large quantities of Raw Game and Wolf Meat. The Fae Deer will drop Raw Game, but it is rare and bones and furs are the more common drop. Could there not be a tamable boar? Also, could Wolf Meat not be substituted for some other kind of meat? The problem is when you have a large town and want there to be many pets. Making enough dog and cat food can be horrifically time consuming when you have to go out and hunt every bit of Wolf Meat and most of the Raw Game. Farming animals for meat, as we can currently do well for the other meats, seems more in line with the game's intent of community building and resettling.

DeekayerGetting the meat for cat food is easy. Farm the hophares, Four adults and 20-ish beds, will fill up with babies as long as you feed them. Every day, upgrade them and use the hophares as food. Leave four adults, and repeat.

Buffy SutherlandI just came back to the game and my cats are starving...you added fish to the recipe and I don't have fish to feed them yet. You should not change the recipe , but add recipes
