Health Potion cost rebalance
Materials for many health potions can be updated to create multiple health potions instead of 1 (e.g., 1 shroud vapor + other materials make 5 or 10 superior health potions). This way the final output outweighs the high material cost.

Potions and other consumables are prohibitively expensive to make. It's a massive waste of time to make anything beyond the first or second tier of potions because you need dozens of ingredients to make single units of Alchemical Base and Shroud Vapor. Upgraded Bandages require TONS of processes to make, and the payout of making higher tier bandages/potions pale in comparison to just using multiples of the infinitely cheaper versions.
Why do I need so many materials to make Shroud Vapor and Alchemical base? why do I need to use 15 shroud mushrooms to make 1 Alchemical base? I can run through an area with Shroud Mushrooms and clear cut all of the mushrooms I can find just to have less than 150 units. Why do I have to spend a million years mining single units of Active/Acidic Mycelium and burning through multiple steel pickaxes just to get enough to make enough potions to last me and my friends through one or two brief expeditions? Why is the yield so low, and the material so sparse???? -

Nikki100% agree! It takes SO much to make these potions and bandages. Luckily I don't seem to need the potions as much anymore but I don't even bother with the better bandages because it's too much.

someguyOn the other side the ultimate health potion is incredibly cheap (too cheap) once you can get it.
I wouldnt mind the current cost of the higher tier potions once you can farm shroud plants (like shroud ice) in your garden. -

PaulJIt's even worse because eternal heals exist - all you need is a one-time craft. Sure, it's less convenient than hitting a hotbar hotkey, but you can still carry potions for emergency situations. Good players shouldn't be getting into unexpected trouble that often anyway, it's not too hard to learn when to break off from combat to quickly swap to a staff and cast healing on yourself.
That said, I still agree with you guys that the recipes need to be cost effective -- a problem affecting more than just healing potions.
