Create levels of tool use, allowing increase in speed of 'cooking' the recipe
Seafood grill, as an example
lvl 1 4:54 to cook a crimsonback
lvl 2 3:12 to cook a crimsonback
lvl 3 1:45 to cook a crimsonback
Increase level through tool use. This could apply to stations as well as hand tools (axe, pick).

Agree to this as well. I have limited time to play video games because I have a family, and having to wait to to make metal plates or whatever feels like the game isn't respecting my time at all. Especially when everything else you make is instant, so why can't it either be instant or lowered.
Also what Lovro said 1000%, please allow all crafting materials to be pulled from chests. There are a lot of materials in this game and its extremely tedious to be pulling them into your backpack, or just searching 10-20 chests for what you need. -

asmallrabbit MergedAgreed. There's no reason something like cooking a piece of meat in a pot should take 3 mins when you can do it manually in 3 seconds over a fire. A full hour to cook a stack of 20 automatically vs 1 minute by yourself is a crazy difference.

Lovro Merged100% agree to this, later on in the game you need so many different materials to craft something and it all takes so long to craft. theres absolutely no reason why it takes so long. Also all crafting stations should pull materials directly from the chests, running around base just to grab materials to 10 different crafting stations is so annoying.

FlamebornInstead of levels they should just increase the amount of items that get cook on the grill .. like 5x crimsonback in 4:54 .. i mean that should be the reason we want to use the grill :) (like for me i didnt use them atm .. cooking fish manual over a fire place is way faster)
.. but i think the devs want to give us an automation for cooking and that is what i do atm like with rice .. start the cooking job and the next time there are 100x ready
levels for pickaxe etc. ... that sound like the life progression stuff (levels for everthing)... i mean you do this 1x time for your character and then ... yeah you are 10-30% better/faster whatever) - i am not sure if we need that stuff (and you can solve this with the server-settings) and when we need stuff like this just let us solve this with buff food or a skill like more stamina regen will increase you strengh of using the pickaxe - then we can use sweets buff food to solve the this)
