Fire Bow/Staff with Q no matter what hotbar item is selected
I’ve found myself in a pinch many times, often while I’m mining, where I go to fire my bow but because I have the pick axe selected on my toolbar - or a water skin - I can’t. I need to scroll and select something else, like my daggers or axe or a piece of food, before I can fire. It shouldn’t matter what active selection is highlighted: if you have a ranged weapon equipped in your ranged slot, Q should allow you to fire.

I have a melée weapon and a bow on my action bar and equip a staff in my backpack to be selected with the Q key. If I select my bow, the Q key readies the bow and the staff is unavailable. If I select my melée weapon, the Q key now reverts to ready the staff. I should be able to select any weapon in my action bar and still be able to switch quickly to my staff and back again using the Q key. -
