would be cool after the release of the fall update that the new expanded content offered world boss dragon spawn timers that spawn a random world boss dragon for each of the higher tier areas... or some kinda random gargantuan boss creature for each area as a world boss.... just a thought -

German Sesin MergedHi! First of all, I really enjoy the game and its world. However, I feel that mission variety could be improved. Most of the time, objectives revolve around either finding an object or reaching a specific location. While there are some puzzles, they are relatively limited, and the overall mission structure can start to feel repetitive over time.
I think adding more diverse mission types would greatly enhance the experience and make the world feel more dynamic and alive.
Some ideas:
Escort or companion missions where you assist an NPC in reclaiming an area (e.g., clearing enemies or defeating a boss). Once completed, the area could become “restored” and unlock new mechanics like farming, mining, trading, or crafting.
Defense missions: protect a base or an NPC from waves of enemies.
Settlement reconstruction: gather resources to rebuild a town that later provides benefits.
Meaningful choices: decide between different paths (e.g., saving someone or securing resources).

PickleNinja MergedAlong with the annoyances of not being able to relocate things in your base etc. Please shave off some redundance in this game please. Please put a quick deposit button as you walk up to the boxes. Like, why are we having to go in the box press E, then press some more crap to quick deposit. Just give us the quick deposit when we are walking by the box.
Just going to say the building in this game is atrocious, let me mention just farming for the resources alone, takes way too long. This is why I leave this game halfway through my builds. Everything just gets redundant. Why is everything boxy no curved items or circler stairs etc. Come on man there are so many games out there you can take things that were fun and worked well and turn this into the ultimate. Like this is the first game I waited to build cause i felt it was so dreadful to gather the resources and the crafting just to get the materials. Also, I know there are exploits to be able to cheat the game. But honestly why do we do -

Deb's MergedWhile I can appreciate the building aspect is one that many if not most, enjoy about the game, I am not one of them. I can build but find it tedious and boring. I like doing the quests but find myself starting world after world doing the same quests over and over again because I have completed them. I do not like the Lore and will only do them when I see them. I don't search them out however. Longer quest and more elaborate quest lines would, for this person, be appreciated. I find I leave the game after a month because I am bored.

tempy Mergedthe building system has great bones but needs refining. it would be good to see a few more shapes added to the game, such as right triangle floor and wall pieces to create cut corners, and quarter circle floor and wall pieces to create rounded corners. improved terrain modification would also be great - the rake tool is borderline useless for anything other than a flat, horizontal surface and the game really needs a smoothing tool. more shapes would also be nice for terrain modification, especially a larger disc.

No idea, because "The math is mathing, but the math is changing." which makes calculating the Rested buff impossible for the player. In the current world I'm playing (up to the end of the Kindlewastes) I have comfort 50 and get a maximum of 42:21 Rested. I thought it was a bug at first until I scoured the patch notes and found the change buried almost at the end of the list.
*Suggestion/Feedback:*
Players are now being penalized for making use of the building/decorating system, which makes higher comfort levels less effective. It's a lot of work to build intricate bases. I get that someone could be lazy and slap a rough stone box down and then haphazardly throw the max tier decorations in there, but who really cares? -

M MergedBefore your most recent update, I was able to mess around with the settings of the game in task manager to be able to play it. Now, after your update I cannot play it at all. The game is so laggy that I cannot do anything even after using the previously mentioned work around. Please fix it, I really do enjoy playing your game but I cannot play it as it is right now

RaumZeroPlease add back the ‘block view’ option. It allowed for a better all-around view when building with a shield, which greatly enhanced the building experience.

Hi the last time I played with my friend was during the early access release although we did finish it, but the game seemed too easy to us.
Since then, a lot of time has passed and many updates have been released, but nevertheless, I would like to ask for more difficulty in the game, as we plan to play it again on release
Difficult game≠increased hp and damage of enemies
1) Less frames for reacting to attacks from regular mobs and bosses
2) More variation of attacks for regular mobs and bosses, and the possibility of adding combo attacks for bosses
3) Create conditions for moving around the arena during a boss fight while dodging attacks. For example, a dragon spits at you, and the floor is filled with lava, or a trap appears,forcing you to search for higher ground while dodging the boss's attacks.Make more interaction with the environment during boss fights
4) Make default enemies "smarter." By this, I mean giving enemies the ability to retreat when their health -

DrewCan we please go back to upgrades to equipment being on any craft person? It is a pain now to have to run around my base to find the person to upgrade one piece of equipment and then run across my base again to find a different person for a different piece.

GolemGame has some weird response delay now.
Targeting also feels "off".
Glider updraft is as pointless of a change as chests reload, i will die on this hill, bad change.
A LITTLE fps drop (but still).
Overall a lot of good but also VERY annoying bugs that need to be fixed ASAP, the stutter alone makes the game borderline unplayable, i roll my eyes whenever i press left and then right and the character takes longer to change courses than it would take me to do it irl xd -

Surely Not LokiI don't know if this was intended or not, but there is now a half-second or so delay on opening the glider when you press the spacebar, even without any special skills or whatnot effecting it. It's throwing off my timing in a major way trying to glide around, and it makes the whole mechanic feel less responsive.

SartanaThe blinking because of the new focus mechanic is very annoying. Bow has it over it‘s crosshair, too. Is there a way to add a non blinking and non pulsating version I could choose in the accessibility tab? It‘s sufficient for me to see that the focus bar is full. Idk it‘s just annoying me a lot. Like I have a massage I need to answer but my personal Drak next swamp neighbor wants to tell me about their nail saloon apointment first and there is some fish between his teeth but he just doesn‘t stop talking. I guess the ICQ time trained me too well to react to blinking stuff.

nFor armor that can increase a skill, include the skill's description on the armor upgrade UI.
Currently I have to hunt for the skill in the skill UI to see what it does / if I care about it. -

JessicaAfter hundreds of hours of playing this game, I can't play 5 minutes without it crashing. Each time I attempt to work on the skill tree reset, the game just gives up. Also, after each crash, the desktop shortcut disappears. I don't know if this has anything to do with the update, but if it does, this is going to cause people to just play a different game. This is my absolute favorite game, I adore it, and I can't even access it. I can view other player's worlds, but not my own.....please help! (Sorry to complain, ya'll made an amazing game. I'm just sad it's no longer playable.)

angry at you Mergednew patch broke all my custom controller binds. upon log in, nothing worked, to accommodate power attacks and have elden ring style l2 gameplay with a final fantasy esq resource charge (the worst thing in ER + the most boring thing in ff) you reset all my custom controls. ok, fine. so then I reset everything, and the lua errors you have because of overlap are too heavy handed. I can't play a lute in the water, so the overlap complaint it gives me about swimming buttons and playing an instrument are a moot point. but it doesn't end there, i can literally bind something, be given the green light by your windows 11 level oppressive ui, and the buttons still don't work in game. I can't glide cancel unless its the same bind as initiate glide, its the only binding that works. sometimes* i am spam tapping glide because your game eats input like the people in the dev interviews must be eating potato chips. it needs to be the buttons I assign. does matter if something overlaps the build hammer?

BuzzkillI'm having some collection quests not collect properly. Went to Lover's hideaway, gathered Calla Luna, went to the barber, and he ignored me.
I like how collections have been seperated though, now they just need to work. -

Auren DawnstarThe 24 meter radius on the Large Quick Stack Station feels needlessly restrictive. I was hyped to be able to put it next to my altar for quick deposits, but with that range it barely covers my storage room if it's actually in the storage room.
Also, I'm skeptical about adding so many new armor pieces back into the loot pools for chests. My RNG was already awful trying to get the weapons I wanted, and this just makes it worse. -

Namelessthis patch completely destroyed my settlement... it has just vanished from the map and is now replaced with random blocks and crap... and because steam automatically saves it, it is stuck that way for good thanks for wasting months of my time

ShigI realize that this game is still early access, and areas are subject to change, but the newest patch put my base firmly inside the Shroud, when it has been fine for 2 years. Since this was my main base, I now have to find an area I think will be big enough to try to remake it, dig it out (I was making an underground dwarven hall), rebuild it, and, possibly some of the most annoyingly, slowly move ALL the materials I had stored in chests and the chests to store them into a new base. The might not be as much of an issue if we could easily move items between bases, or if we could make blueprints of bases to easily re-make them somewhere else, or if there was a way to remove the Shroud from an area. But after 2 years of working on this 1 base slowly over time, this change has killed most of my enthusiasm to keep working on it since I effectively have to start entirely over.

AlLove the new update! Thank you for:
* changing the build undo key binding on controller
* the gorgeous reworks of the springland areas (can't wait to see it all!)
* the rune upgrades to gear, tools, and weapons
* the awesome new crafting recipes
One thing I will gripe about is that it seems like furniture and decorations are harder to pick up now? I skimmed the change log and didn't see anything obvious but istg I'm having a hard time focusing to pick up things. Especially the dang pets! I'm not positive what changed but I've been doing a lot of decorating recently and I haven't had any issues focusing and picking up things till the update. -

3x1tus1. Item sets, the way they've been implemented, make the game less immersive. Having NPCs tell you about items and give you a bit of background info was nice. Now it's just checking a list and grabbing that item. Why not have the item-set-list, but let the icons on the map pop up only if an NPC told you about the set? The lore in this game is great. I'd rather see more of it than less.
2. Movement feels worse now. It feels sluggish and not as precise as before. There is also a delay between pressing "attack" and the attack actually happening. Adds to the game feeling less responsive than before. Camera-movement also seems less precise than before. -

methe delete button is way too big and centered for the screen where i view my worlds. i accidentally click delete instead of play every time. really strange that its so big, why not have it smaller and off to the side? also have been having some weird screen tearing since the latest update. also, starved when starting a new world because there's no food in the starting area. and as someone who has absolutely no interest in the world sharing stuff, kind of annoying its taking up most of the screen.

JayLots of awesome things in this update good job! I like the new stations, the easy inventory management, new weapon/tool abilities! Was left speechless after using the wood chopping axe ability.
I was excited to check the skill tree changes , and the gear upgrades, and i have mixed feelings. It feels like i need to spend more points to have the same skills i used to have? I tried making the build i had before update and i was short on points. Not only that, but i was weaker in some perks wich felt bad.
Same for gear skills upgrade. I got two rings who boosted the same skill, and i thought, wow, surely this will make a difference now! But no. 2 skills upgrade from gear, and 3 skill points in, just to have the same stat i had before patch. Upgrading and focusing on a skill just to downgrade or have no change at all doesnt feel rewarding. Its like the update is a punishment, and you can upgrade your way out of SOME of it.
Also that double jump into glide delay isnt fun at all. -

SuaveDoggoIf you're going to remove the quests in favor of the "sets" tab, at least give actual hints or some direction. Opening the tab to see half a dozen missing building blocks, with the only hint "find this block or material to learn it!" is not a hint. Telling you they're all in Springlands, only to open the map and see 0 map markers, and a fully explored Springlands map, is not a hint.
You're basically saying "hey go walk back and forth until you've covered every inch of the map. And hope we don't have it buried." Tell us where to go look for the hint, or don't show it at all and go back to the old system *that worked*. -

LuanaDear enshrouded team, can you explain to me why the female Armor is looking like the male ones ? Like come on guys women play Ur video games and we love it ! So please think of us too when u are designing new armor. I am tired that my character looks like a professional boxer even tho she is a Mage ! Female and male body physics are different ( we are not asking for skimpy half naked armor sets but I would like to see that I am playing a female in game and not a boxy boxer xD ).

Merete YThere's a height issue with the hand-held water pump since the update. If I have just placed down some sort of equipment using q to adjust height, the height adjustment carries over to the pump, and wont work, untill I pick up something else placeable, and reset height.
Plants info-pane in backpack no longer shows planting info like before. This change wasnt in the change log.

Robbe93It is now more complicated to Pick stuff up. For example to pick the kitchen, I must get it while I am under the kitchen.

ScottyCouple of things:
1) Can we get a toggle, maybe serverside for consistency, for the old Updraft behavior? Relearning core traversal at this point in the game's life cycle feels really bad.
2) Loving the Sets menu, but it has some room to improve.
- Can we get a direct summon/dismiss keybind for it?
- The visual distinctions between owned/known/unknown are not communicated very clearly. Reusing the existing quest ? for items the server knows but you haven't owned is kind of at cross purposes with how its used in the quest context. I'd suggest, minimally, that the ? be on unknown items rather than known-but-not-owned items.
- If the server knows the item already, not showing item details on the inspect card is unnecessary frustration; it doesn't spoil anything that going to the workbench wouldn't also immediately spoil.
- Can the sort order be made to either match the workbench, or be user-defined? One sorts ascending, and the other descending. -

Amezyarak1. Skill Tree:
- In most cases, skills with x/3 bonuses at 3/3 grant less than the same skill pre-update. Furthermore, skill points feel significantly less efficient, and the ability to unlock different branches feels reduced. Builds feel more limited, less varied, and weaker.
2. Armor and Ring Upgrades:
- The extra skill points gained from upgraded armor and rings are a welcome addition, but they also make the skill progression system more rigid, as they will restrict optimal builds based on Best-in-Slot (BiS) items.
3. Furniture and Decoration:
- It is MUCH more difficult to pick up furniture and decorations. In some cases, it is practically impossible.
4. Comfort:
- A complex and opaque calculation has been forced. Previously, the system was simple, easy to understand, and satisfying. The reduction in the duration of the Rested buff through this method feels like an unfair nerf. At least, to compensate, we could have the same level of comfort outdoors as indoors inside our base. -

ElizabethJust started the game after this update and I can see text but no graphics, Black background with white text. When you play the game, there is no lighting, no texture maps. objects do not appear to be rendering correctly. First time I've ever had any bugs or issues with the game. I've restarted and reset display settings to default, restarted the pc several times. Nothing works. No other games I have on steam are affected. Not sure if this an issue with this new Forging the Path update. I'm going to do some research, thin uninstall and reinstall the game... maybe that will work... Curious if anyone else is having this issue after the update.

Chilla S.Love the update, especially the RAM usage decrease, since I only have 16GB, and suprisingly have no crashes, no blackscreens, like many people experiencing, and I only have a GTX1650 GDDR5 (from 2020) GPU, Ryzen 7 4800H 2.9Ghz CPU with Win11 25H2.
I don't know, where the optimisation went wrong, but hope you find the solution, so many more players can enjoy this update to it's fullest!
Also everything is working fine gameplay-wise. Can pick up and put back everything in my bases, new/old building pieces as well as crafting stations, decorations.
Water physics are also working fine.
On another note, I have a suggestion about the Quick Stack Stations.
Please allow us to lock items, mostly consumables in the bag, which we don't want to deposit, when interacting with this station!
